Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

How difficult would it be to switch in an underslung/belt mounted quiver animation? I use archery quite a bit' date=' and the quiver clipping with the backpacks from Frostfall is nasty.[/quote']

as far as I know all chesko's variants of xpms have belt quivers

you can try this also.

Chesko's made his belt fastened quivers a separate mod, and the new skeletons (apparently 1.1 is a litle different from 1.0, which I think XPMS uses) comes with animations (non-sneak only so far) for the quiver and arrows. I've downloaded and installed that and am going to give it a spin to see how well it works with the other animation mods in SR fairly soon. Mod order: Belt Fastened Quivers > XP32 Skeleton (BHDB1H Chesko version) > Immersive Animations. I'm wondering if XP32 and Immersive Animations shouldn't be in reverse order in this case though, since IIRC Immersive Animations's skeleton isn't exactly tailored for Chesko's quivers-- or if I shouldn't place BFQ last of the lot. Hmm.

Meanwhile: Moonlight Tales currently at version 1.13; only changes are script related according to author; Werewolf Mastery compatibility is still at the one for v 1.12.

I never did change mine to CoT night level four. (I left them at the default.) I thought it looked pretty good with the Realvision ENB - much darker than without it. It's certainly dark but not unplayably so. Torches now really help in dungeons which are dark away from light sources. Quite nice. (I turned off DoF, EdgeAA and Blur - effects which I hate!)

Thanks for all your work on the ENB issues! It creates gorgeous pictures - which are a bit moody - bright and cheerful on a sunny day, brooding on a a stormy day, dark but clear on a clear night and brooding shadows in the dungeons.

Hello,

I am fairly new to this forum and I am still trying to find my way around all these various mods and fixes.

I have been following Neo's guide for quite some time and I find it amazing. Fantastic work, excellent guide. Congrats Neo!!!

Just one quick question...

I have noticed that Neo updated the XP32 Maximum Skeleton to v.1.5.1 which has an installer. Following Neo's suggestions for installing this version, I found that (comparing to the ones for v.1.4) the animations folder for back hip daggers & 1H sword is missing. Is there any particular reason for this?

Immersive animations cover these.

I guess the two sections configure skyrim and configure the graphics driver is no longer valid since you introduced ENB to the guide? I am using an ati card.

Basically for ATI you want to set AF off since ENB will do it. For Nvidia I believe the driver AF is still better than ENB. Will update on this tonight.

Tks Neo!

Another quick question, although it may sound silly...ENB Manager is loaded through MO or outside MO?

I saw a post somewhere in the forum which tested the difference between game AF, driver AF and ENB AF. The result was no difference in term of quality and at best 1 fps for performance which could be anything.

My advice for AF is to use game AF or driver AF (ATI or nVidia) and let the ENB work on the rest. I don't know how ENB works but from what I understand it adds a layer to the process so my guess would be to let the game engine or the driver handle what they can. Depending on what you want (quality or performance) you might want to let ENB doing it (like ambient occlusion) or not.

Personally I use the driver AF (GTX 670) and I deactivated the DoF which instantly put back my fps to 60 from 45 (and I hate the effect).

Thx by the way for point out RealVision ENB it's a very good one. I used Phinix before but it doesn't play very well with RLO and CoT.
