Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I am wondering if anyone even bothered to check to see whether all the CTDs or infinite load screens are due to MO itself? Up until using MO, I had not ever experienced all the crashes SR provides. I have not tried installing all the mods with another mod utility, but have always been curious if it was MO especially after MO wiped out my SR setup. I did not lose any mods, but lost the mod order. This is my first post, but I have been trolling a long time. I am using i7-3820 CPU, 16 GB Ram, EVGA GTX 480 4 GB no SLI constant 60 fps with ENB, but have yet to experience any significant game play with this mod, though I will admit the results are beautiful.

Placing Trade and Barter at the Bottom of Bashed Patches via BUM (so it ended up between Bashed Patch and Automatic Variants) seems to have solved the problem with merchants not get any gold when they re-spawn.

With his pure SR build Neo didn't need to do this, but those of us adding other mods that need a Bashed Patch to merge leveled lists might benefit from doing this.

In my order at least, I don't think I have other mods it is interfering with by being down there.

EDIT: It looks like the same effect can be achieved by merely selecting T&B then unclicking Delev in the bottom right corner of Wrye Bash before building the bashed patch.

I need some guidance regarding the following edit, please:

Select all Bethesda ESMs and Chesko_WearableLantern.esp then click [OK].

Expand "Idle Animation" under Chesko_WearableLantern.esp and select the "0002A9D3" node.

Right-click the "Condition" in Chesko_WearableLantern.esp regarding Torch01 and select "Remove".

Right-click the "Conditions" row in Chesko_WearableLantern.esp select "Add" twice.

Drag the two conditions from Dawnguard.esm, in order, to the two newly created condition spaces in Chesko_WearableLantern.esp.

I am not sure which Condition I am actually removing... I can see something like this:

Do I remove Condition 1 or Condition 2?

@Neovalen - with the addition of Animation Tweaks and Fixes, was the exclusion of his ATAF Sword and Shield Wield optional intentional? Just making sure I have the right setup with his mod and DSR as I am currently playing a sword and board Nord.

Thanks.

Yes omitting sword and shield was intentional. The dual sword on back anim is good for both dual wield swords and shield on back.

2. Would it be advisable to select any of the Apachii SkyHair styles that we know we don;t want to use and remove them as recommended in this tutorial https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32768 or is there no benefit once we are past the character generation screen? Do random bandits select from that list of new hairstyles too?

2) Apachii hairs are only for the player as currently implemented. So beyond char creation no benefit.
Also with "RaceMenu" + the optional "DisableFaceGenCache" you wont be crashing or getting hangups during character creation since it doesn't load everything when you open the menu.

(Someone needs to do something similar with Smithing, it always freezes for a couple of seconds when I open that menu)

Especially with all the extra stuff being added to the crafting menus which then leads to crashing.
