Difference between SRLE and LOTD?

Is LOTD just the newest version of the mod guide or is it an extension of SRLE?

 

It looks like it is for LOTD specifically however I see there are a LOTD of the same mods used in SRLE. This being said, do I need to reinstall the mods already used in SRLE? I am almost done with SRLE, almost ready to test and I'd like to do LOTD as I'd like to check out that expansion. 

 

BTW I followed STEP, SRLE is so much easier to follow. 

 

Great work to everyone. I have written many tutorials and know how arduous and time consuming it can be to put together a good tut.

That is how I thought it works but why are there so many duplicate mods in the later tutorials?

For the duplicated mods - these are usually re-installed with different options.
