YouTube Heros

So, like me, you were casually sitting down eating a bag of popcorn when you see four or five videos in your feed talk about this new revolutionary idea that YouTube is presenting called "YouTube Heros". What could this be? I ask myself. So I go watch the official YouTube video and I sat in front of my monitor appalled. It's like the people in charge of YouTube woke up and thought: "How can we mess up today?" and then they came up with this...

 

I don't know how many of you watch YouTube consistently or follow its news, but this is something I think everyone should be aware of. Mobs of people mass flagging videos on YouTube because people don't agree with the content has already been happening for years, and now? YouTube is rewarding people for abusing the system. Moderating is necessary, yes, but this is just a bad idea. in a perfect world people would only flag videos because it has inappropriate content. Unfortunately there are many many people who will go out and flag videos because they don't agree with what it says. I am wondering what everyone else thinks of this.
