thebattalion Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 i am trying to gain some more performance and the enb is really hitting it hard. i am wondering how do i go about turning it off since my game crashed when i tried taking out d3d9.dll
Nozzer66 Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 You'll need to take out more than just the d3d9.dll. You'd need to get rid of anything with enb in the name. Enbseries.ini, enblocal.ini, enbseries folder etc.
thebattalion Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 ok i will do that. also any tips on how to reduce stuttering? its not that bad but is kind of annoying
paul666root Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 well if you use ENB manager then just disable it and it will clear all the files
redirishlord Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Shift + F12 turns it off (when its installed). You could install ENBoost if you just want memory management benefits, I think that's still in the STEP wiki.
Oeolycos Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) i am trying to gain some more performance and the enb is really hitting it hard. i am wondering how do i go about turning it off since my game crashed when i tried taking out d3d9.dllI believe this will cause many textures to look like ass. You will need to remove anything with parallax as, unless I am mistaken(?), ENB is required to properly render those textures. As a note, the Vividian ENB completely nukes my video card (GTX770). After switching to RealVision ENB (medium) I am stable at 40-60fps. YMMV. Edited June 15, 2016 by Oeolycos
