NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 As the title suggests, when I'm traversing over rocks, if I look down at them while moving the textures seem to warp and flow. Is this normal? I'm guessing not. What would be causing this?
0 Neovalen Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 I haven't seen something like that for a long time, I would guess it has to do with parallax meshes being off a bit.

0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 19, 2016 Author Posted April 19, 2016 So, I weaned myself of the skooma, and made fixparallaxterrain=false, but it still happens. Any other ideas? And thanks for the help.
0 sm0kem Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Are you using loose version of Vivid landscapes or BSA? According to link below some people link this issue to bsa version https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/540737262441286928/
0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 19, 2016 Author Posted April 19, 2016 ^I will look into this when I get home this afternoon
0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 19, 2016 Author Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) so yeah, I am using the loose files. hmmm... Maybe i could try the BSA? couldn't hurt anymore than it already is yeah? Edited April 19, 2016 by NordPride_WorldWide
0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 So further fiddling has showed me that the bsa is no different than the loose files. no surprise there. but what i did find out is that if i set fixparallaxbugs=false, the texture morphing as I walk ceases, but is replaced with the textures jerking suddenly when i change angles. this is no better.
0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 also, while testing this out, i came across this anomaly. this is the only fire in the game ive come across with this error in it. no other problems with lighting or fires, just this. even when i quit and reload its always this one fire.
0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) No extras. I had skyrim bigger trees installed for a couple days but got rid of it. Edit: I should point out I've been having this issue since I started my game weeks ago, before installing SBT, and just now got around to posting about it. 0 sm0kem Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) If thats the case you must have missed or messed one of the steps and only you can find which one. You can try uploading your mod order so we can have a look but i wouldn't bet on it. Try googling it using different descriptions maybe you'll find quicker solution. The only "related" issue i had was cased by parallax terrain fix P.S. did you install the right version of ENB Terrain Parallax Fix mod? Edited April 20, 2016 by sm0kem
0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 Yes, the only thing in my ENB terrain parralax fix folder is two files for ice

0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 Removing Ruffled Feather's Moss Rocks fixed this for me.Thanks for the suggestion. Doing this seems to have lessened the effect, but not removed it entirely. very strange.
0 NordPride_WorldWide Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) ugh... finding nasty things like this among the rocks. i must've screwed something up somewhere. Edited June 9, 2016 by NordPride_WorldWide
