Grass sprites in Riverwood? Yea or Nea?

Hello,

 

With clean STEP-X install (and only the rec'd STEP ini tweaks) there are no green grass 'sprites' in Riverwood or the surrounding forest.   However, in other forests, plenty of grass and flower sprites.  I can provide screenies if interested, or will add later on.

 

My previous non-STEP install of TESV was modded (though bad practices) and had plenty of grass in Riverwood, so I do not know if 'no-grass-in-Riverwood' is default/normal.  It looks like cows/horses have heavily grazed, or it's now a golf course...

 

If this is not normal, please help with suggestions to grow grass in Riverwood (LOL).

It's normal and that's how vanilla is.

OK thanks, I was thinking this was the case b/c my STEP install went very well (no reason to suspect bug or other issue), but the more I walked around other areas the more grass/flora I saw everywhere else, so...

 

If vanilla condition, then I wonder why Bethesda made this so given the other areas?  Some intern's or PA oversight?  Or some other nefarious reason, such as grass eating/smoking Daedric worshippers hiding out in the Riverwood cellars and only emerging with their sickly pale skin in the dark hours to ...  Oh nevermind...
