Brawl Bug Patch and Enhanced Blood Textures

Hello,

 

I just tried to do a brawl quest and the npc immediately dropped combat and walked out of the inn he was in.  I repeated the dialogue and he dropped combat right away, and when I punched him I got a bounty and the guards attacked me.

 

I noticed that a lot of the files from the brawl bug patch are overwritten by Enhanced Blood Textures.  Is this correct?  That is the order of installation in the latest guide, so I don't know.  Regardless, this brawl quest isn't working for me and I can't seem to get the intimidate check to pass.

EBT includes the Brawl Bug patch, so you can deactivate the Brawl Bugs patch if you use EBT.

Oh, I didn't know that.

 

But, the brawl quest still doesn't seem to be working.

I'm not sure what other users have seen. Almost of the time it seems to work fine. I did have one fight added by a NPC/quest mod that didn't work properly unless the NPC added by the mod wasn't in the same cell at the time of the fight. I worked with the mod developers to try to help identify what was happening, but I never found the cause.

IIRC, iNeed present an issue with the brawl bug patch. I can't remember when I read that though, and i'm a bit too lazy right now to check it out.

Hmm, ok.  I still have not figured it out.  I managed to pass the intimidate check on that first one for now at least.
