  1. @My earlier post... 1.) No Snow Under The Roof ---> I disabled the SRLE Base merge, and re-enabled the original mod/patches along with the cutting room floor patch. Now, you can activate the new NSUTR for whistling mine. However Spice of Life forts will be looking for NSUTR - Merged.esp. No worries, looked like at the end of LoTD they still call the newer merge that same thing. 2.) Farmhouse Chimneys --> I disabled "----- Farmhouse Chimneys Merge" as the reinstall with LoTD added onto the name seems to have everything the merge needs so shouldn't need the old one at all. That's it! I think... Just posting this in-case someone asks the question or gets confused when first encountering these situations. Good luck!
  2. For anyone who didn't just experience the miracle of birth (as you as no doubt busy!) lol... Is it easier to just disable all the merges from SRLE Base and activate all the original ESPs again? In the guide it'll ask to disable a single mod included in a merge (IE No Snow Under the Roof - Patch - Realistic Room Rental Enhanced (by CJ2311/Neovalen)) Or a new patch will rely on on an ESP name that is now merged... (IE Whistling Mine - No Snow Under the Roof looking for no_snow_under_the_roof.esp when we only have NSUTR - Merged.esp at that point) Just looking to see the easiest way to handle this as I go along, thank-you for your excellent assistance! ;)
  3. Congratulations to you and your wife good sir :)
  4. @Any Extended users Would it be possible for you to upload a few screenies of your mod organizer with the categories not-expanded (no mods showing), and than expanded (showing all the mods)? I'm very visual and there's just a couple things that would really clear up. Thank-you! @Paul666root I love that wheel barrel/fall screenshot! Here's one, but is is SRLE (not extended) I'm hoping to get mine up and running soon though! :P
  5. So I need lots of caffeine ey? :D Should be fun! I think I'll take Darth_Mathias' advice and do base first, nice a slow and test section-by-section, than do extended. How did everyone decide to categorize their extended mod areas by the way? It recommends "SRLE Base - Unofficial Patches" as the first for example, which makes me wonder if I should sort those left alone/base mods separate from those modified/new from extended making two categories for each IE "SRLE Base - Other Fixes" "SRLE Extended - Other Fixes" Sorry for the noobish questions, I'm not the best with this stuff, but thankfully I can follow directions fairly well. So your kick-ass guides really help. P.S. Apologies @Neb, hehe, nice to meet you!
  6. @Jarl Ah, okay. The many acronyms of Skyrim modding :) I will indeed to just that than, base guide, test, followed by extended. Are the extra steps centered around merges changing up a bit? I'll have to set aside a day for this and just be patient and thorough. The things we do for Skyrim =D Oh, and ty for the helpful thoughts!
  7. Ah, the man himself! Thank-you for a quick reply. I didn't realize you did both SR & SRLE (and they were separate things), I meant the one with the link you posted good sir! I just wasn't sure if the best approach was to install your legendary edition, than extended, or follow the extended integrating guide, and sort of alt-tab between the three pages as you go step-by-step. Three Pages = SRLE // SRLE EXTENDED // Integrating SRLE It seems you could use "SRLE BASE" and then just check with the SRLE Extended Integrating page as you go along to ensure nothing is different (no changes to merge, mod add/removals) But I think there's an easier way to do this... (@)_(@) lol
  8. Hello! I made an account with hopes of a little guidance before I undertake a multi-day modding experience. Currently installed is the standard Skyrim Revisited loadout by Neovalen. However, this is quite dated. I would like to start from scratch to ensure it is all up-to-speed and to also add-on this extended version. My question...s... :D 1.) What is the best approach for order here? In the guide it says install the standard Revisited first, make sure it works. But than I notice in the guide it lists some of the same mods already installed. and merges that take other merges into account, IE if I did the first guide I'd have some merges with mods ABC, than in extended it might want me to than merge BCXY, or ABCD... Just looking for a good explanation from some of you modders on how you tackled this in a logical step-by-step manner ensuring you didn't have to back-peddle too much. Thank-you very much, seriously!
