  3. maybe I will install it when you give the go ahead after completion so far Fusion City is not conflicting with your setup at all on my end did you use the 1.07 patch for maxwells?
  4. yep, so in the end I tried your patch that lowers the damage of the modded weapons.....looks like you lowered their damage to more reasonable levels....yet they are still powerful enough to be unique. ooooh are you adding in mojave imports? That was one of the last mods (besides some quest mods previously shot down about grr) that I wanted to add but was unsure....NOOIIICE!!!
  5. oops just saw above..oh and I know we already talked about it but holy **** fusion city is awesome...if you haven't already, install it bro as always, keeping my eye on the nexus for that once in a while special mod which one by trainwiz, looks like the nexus is down atm

  7. good to hear bro, better to take some time and play yourself..make your guide as tight as possible and evolve it over time. What you hjave already is about 90% of the best mods out so far so all good lol.

  9. yeah I wish there was a way to figure out the random ctd's. LOL.. So Gernash whats on the horizon for the guide? any random mod adds? Oh and a bit of feedback, I entered concord via red rocket, first house on the right is vanilla open interior, however the next house, that has the nuka cola vending machine and lamp, the insides are flickering like crazy and objects dissapearing. I go inside and look out the front door and the world is white..sounds like a cell issue with the interior of the house. I figure one of the mods opened it, maybe beantown. But is not rendering very well lol..... wait a minute, I just read the post above mine....are we talking about the same house in concord?
  10. no no scrapping yet, it was random but I have been playing for 6 hours in a row now with no ctd's or stuttering...although concord was ******* hilarious..I turned up wotc to max just to see whta would happen....dude.....you could hear the mininukes and children of atom and deathclaws all the wauy from sanctuary..I walked over there and peeked over the hill behnid the red rocket, saw a deathclaw racing towards me, turned around and got blown sky high by a suicide mutant.....looked like concord was on fire lol..that mod is ridiculous I am still unsure whether or not I should install spring cleaning or scrap everything...reccomendation? also, for a power armor overhaul, worsins one is enormous I want to scrap all the ******** lying around settlements but am wary of installing one of those mods
  11. Hey Gernash I have a suggestion if you want to make this a more well-rounded guide.Not that it isn't already, but a suggestion regardless. Provide a performance tweaks section for those with potatoes or high end potatoes. whether it be tweaks from the nvidia control panel, geforce experience, enb tweaks or ini tweaks. Give a good section on how to reduce VRAM useage and possible stuttering/ctd for overtaxing

  13. It's because LOOT isn't ready yet for FO4 bro, normally loot rules handle the sorting of loadouts, but the development on that one is slow
  14. I actually like to play like this too lol. I prefer more of a roleplay style as well. However if the weapons I find are too powerful, I put em up on display till I wanna take em out and play for a bit. I also dont build till quite some time after I start I firmly believe that a mod guide should include patches where there are conflicts, however some overwrites are personal preferences so when and if it is not a cause for ctd or very bad glitches, a small basic guide on how to resolve and the outcomes of each choice could be pointed out with that being said, it should not be up to the author to resolve every single conflict as most often they are cause by straying from your exact install loadout. Some people get greedy and add in extra ****, not knowing what it conflicts with. I love the fact that you are customizing your patches based on two overarching preferences, boom boom or realism... holy **** I just saw your update log from yesterday..So, I have your guide installed to the T up till before that update, including salveage beacons and new interiors enhanced. So with all of that new stuff you added on the 20th, can I just go into MO2 and install them all or do I have to redownload a new modwiki core patch? i dont even have light em up yet.....okay where do I start lol
  15. oh ok I think I understand what you did..so you didn't bust em down to full vanilla base? rather you left them with the capacity to be upgraded to a higher max I will get some hours of playing in tonight thankfully, gonna think about that patch...maybe if they are tooo damn powerful, and I like a challenge, then I will do it.
  16. lol what? how do you mean you vanilla-ized the weapons? So all the cool weapons added by weaponsmith were toned down? what is considered vanilla damage as some of those weapons are obviously quite powerful by design. Lol gonna go ahead and not install that patch, I didnt download weaponsmith extended for some weapons skins lol...please consider making that patch optional, as in put it in the realism section yeah? without the patch, wouldn't the weapons do much less damage on highest difficulty? I get toning them down, but not down to vanilla lol...maybe a bit less but some of those weapons are, by design, supposed to do legendary damage plus some

  18. Hell yeah booooi, lol you knew merging plugins would have to come eventually bro. As the FO4 modding scene evolves over the years, it is an inevitability. It seems as if that weaponsmith I suggested a while ago and you implemented isn't popular for some? I enjoy the boom boom lol...I am still grateful you took the time to patch it and put it in Gernash, masterful work..It really adds so many weapons so that you don't have to lol. So my my two jobs and senior electrical engineering semester is preventing me from playing too much till this weekend. I will try to provide more feedback as it comes, Cheers mate!!!
  19. lol no, no potato as I cn run this guide with everything cranked to the highest possible settings, all the candy, and still have 45-60 fps even in a big firefight...I had forgotten about that problem with racemenu back then lol...yeah I was trying to edit outside
  20. so far no problem bro, only hiccup is that apparently FO4 doesnt like it when you access showlooksmenu player 1(customize appearance) from command window in game. I like to alter tatoos and **** on the fly like i did with racemenu in skyrim but I get a ctd for looks menu...I read some articles with people having the same issue so maybe it's that mod lol even with WOTC at mamas boy I had to fight off 5 gunners after I emerged from 111....even on very hard I ****ed em all up but still, was a surprise when I was getting shot in the ass as the lift hadn't even stopped moving up.

Without the mod merging tool Skyrim had it will be difficult..however merging is a very necessary part of modding dude...for further growth I would highly reccomend amending your guide and throwing in merges here and there...merges is another way of making sure **** doesn't conflict...while it may be thorough, over the next couple years many,many amazing mods will come out. Merging is going to become mandatory quickly We all know this. Yes it is tedious but many of us have been around modding for a while and don't mind a bit more complexity as we have been through it before...hell, installing and SRLE EXTENDED LOTD takes days as it is a combination of Neovalyn's work then Darth Mathias's work but it is worth it...merged a couple hundred plugins there too lol
  22. aaand loaded the game after the above aforementioned ctd, did a quick character customization before leaving the vault and ctd in the middle of changing hair color...wtf

  24. hey the forum is back, been playing for a few hours and nothing bad to report. Oh and Gernash, I narrowed it down to Functional Displays, and then narrowed it down to one esp by moving to optional in left pane one by one. it is the esp functional displays-collectibles.esp..I moved it to optional and then boom, everything works like a charm. I dont know what that's all about but whatever. had to resort to the old tried and true from skyrim modding where to you isolate the troublesome mod, then isolate esp. The only thing I have installed that is not part of your guide is s cbbe skin mesh and fusion city. That worldspace patch up there you posted in dropbox, do I replace the one I already have with it in MO?
