  1. Ok thanks. When I moused over the text (while in exterior environment), the notification at the very bottom says "no info available" hopefully that's normal. I'll try and add a screenshot. I had noticed that I was following an old link to previous version of STEP. I'm nearly starting over again!
  2. This may seem an frivolous question. Is there a way around using this program, and having a repository of files that have been already optimized? Specifically I am following the STEP guide for Skyrim. My processor is only amd 955BE@3.55. Its taking forever to run the files through. Specifically I just did the textures for Falskaard. I don't understand why there would not be able to be a location for the files on the internet for modders to just download? Or is it that the files are specific to a system's setup? Any insight would be welcome. STrider
  3. Added above: DyndoLOD, From the "Dynamic LOD" Section of STEP I'm really new to this modding stuff. Having some comprehension issues with the wording of the STEP process and having to fill in some blanks. I'm in Skyrim, load up a new "clean save". Message on top right indicates new MCM menues. Open Mod Configurations. Click on DYndoLOD. "where am I?" -- "NO data for area" Is this normal because we are not finished the process at this stage? or have I messed something up? Don't want to go on ahead with further installation before I am sure that I am good to this stage.
  4. DyndoLOd: Data for area not found. or some such. The MCM recognized the install, and shows up in game with the other mods. Once in the menu, clicking on 'where am i" says no info. I'm 12 hours into an DDSopt. so cant start the game right now to check.
