  1. Curious if STEP recommends updating the Skill Uncapper .ini settings for a more preferable/balanced leveling experience? My understanding is the .ini file that is generated in the overwrite folder is just the vanilla settings. If that is the case and we are not making any tweaks to the .ini file, are other mods dependent on Skill Uncapper and are then able to make adjustments to the leveling experience?
  2. I did a little more testing and what I have found is the following: When you initially craft an item your experience bar will not progress. To get your experience bar to progress you need to move your cursor around rather aggressively. After you have moved your cursor around you will see the experience bar progress. I was able to level up my smithing line by following those steps. Not ideal but seems to be a manageable work around.
  3. Ok, evidently this is a known issue now. Directly from the mod page: We are aware of the issue with experience bar not immediately updating upon crafting an item, which is a consequence of the way CCOR calculates experience via script. We hope to be able to address it in a future update, but it may or may not be something that can be fixed. While it may appear that you are not receiving experience, please note that our testing has confirmed that the experience is being added correctly. In order for the experience bar to update, however, you may need to move the cursor or click on another item. I think the issue is deeper as I will craft a bunch of armor and the exp bar will not progress, which is the known issues as stated above, but it will still not level my smithing skill line. I would expect that if it was purely a scripting issue that the skill would still trigger a level up with the appropriate amount of exp was gained.
  4. Hello, I am currently running the full STEP v0.2.0b installation and it has been running wonderfully. The only issue I have encountered so far is that I am not able to gain smithing experience while using the forge. It seems very hit or miss but what occurs is the following: I will go to the forge and will craft (insert any weapon/armor/etc) and the first craft will give exp but then any subsequent crafts will no longer give exp. This also seems to be a know bug when reviewing the Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered nexus page. Is/has anyone else experienced this bug and if so are there any known fixes? Thanks!
  5. Also, my save file went from modded to now unmodded when i saved again. Can you help me understand why my game is now being registered as an unmodded game?
  6. Thank you for the reply. I think i got everything solved! 1) I am 99% confident that I did not download this mod and followed the guide exclusively. I am not sure if it came pre-packaged with another mod? Either way i just unabled that plug-in. 2) I did not have the SSE Engine Fixes installed correctly. The files that I put into the root directory were still in their own folder. I moved the three files ( 2 .dll files and 1 .ini file) out of the folder and directly into the root directory. I reloaded skyrim and the error went away. It may be in my mind but the game seems to be running smoother as well! Thanks again!
  7. Hello, I have completed a full STEP install and the guide was great, thank you! However, I am getting two notifications in MO2 and I am wondering if there are steps I should take to correct or if these notifications are acceptable. 1) The masters for some plugins (esp/esl/esm) are not enabled. The game will crash unless you install and enable the following plugins: Master Required By RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp Disease Descriptions - RND Patch.esp 2) You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load! If you want this notification to go away, here are some steps you can take: • Look for updates to the mod or the specific plugin included in the mod. • Disable the mod containing the plugin. • Hide or delete the plugin from the mod. To refresh the script extender logs, you will need to run the game and/or editor again! The failed plugins are: • Couldn't load EngineFixes.dll (SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin)). A dependency DLL could not be found (code 126). I appreciate the support!
  8. Thanks for the quick response and your advise. I am very interested why the FOMOD does not seem to be working for me. When you have the time and opportunity I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
  9. I am having the same issue. I have checked to ensure that I have the required .esp's to download and install the core patch but no matter what I do the core patch option is always grayed out. I really appreciate any help that anyone can provide. Below is my mod list: Active Mod Files:
