  1. I need a little bit of help here... I've added a new mod to my list and was doing all the updates with the patchers (section 2.N of the Step Core guide). After the Bashed patch, DSR, Better shaped weapons, FNIS, I've run loot to correct my plugin order. The DynDOLOD.esp is not the last in line, after it, there's the STEP Core patch.esp, bashed patch.esp and the Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp I've tried to correct the patchers multiples times but it didn't change anything, my plugin order stay the same. Any idea why this is happening? How can I fix this? Thanks!
  2. Hi there, Sorry for the short period of time before answering you back, a lot of work this week and I didn't have the time to play around with Mod manager. It is now really easier to understand the mods and the patcher synergy. I'll re-run the last section of the STEP Core guide in the near-future when I install a new mod in my list. I'm looking forward to install two new packs listed in the forums; Skyrim Rejuvenated and Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance. Do I have to do something in particular for that? Do I simply add the new mods after the last one from the Step Core guide (the Section 2.M Gameplay)? Or do I create a new profile? I also experienced some small installation problems, with: - ELE Lite: It seems there's a new version of the file...Is the file for the STEP Guide is still the one I should use? - Realistic Baskets HD: The is an update to do, which can be found in the optional files section, but MO does not seems to change the version after installing it. - Come together N out of the Way: same thing as above... Perhaps these three updates could be added in the installation guide of STEP Core, but I do not know if this is relevant ... You decide :)
  3. Hello! EDIT: You were right, ENB was not installed with MO, so my point was obsolete, sorry. Papyrus was my only concern at that time. 1- I've double-checked everything and I found that the STEP Compilation is not giving me any options when I'm at the "Step core Patch eligibility". Both choices; Step Core eligiblity and Extended patch elibility are blank. Usually, should I can choose between one of them? I have more mods installed than the Core version, only missing a few to be the "extended" version. I should be able to choose the first one... :S 2- Is it possible to install Falskaar and Wyrmstooth before the patch (or section 2.N) ? 3- Should I tick the Step combined plugins for Hearthfire or not? I have installed the mod "Hearthfire extended". 4- For the Ruffled feather mod, there's an optionnal file to install "Ruffled Feather - Enhanced terrain", do I merge both files together or leave them as two seperate mods?
  4. I'll finish the Core guide first and then install the other mods from Skyrim Rejuvenated. As long as re-doing the patch does not take me three hours :-) Another newbie question, I saw that the three extenders (section 2.c) were placed after Dawnguard, Hearthfires and Dragonborn in my order. If I drag them before the expansions (where they are supposed to be) is it still gonna be fine? I have not started a new game yet, just hope everything will work. (High expectations here!)
  5. Hi there! Nice to know that I don't have to reinstall ALL the mods to modify the quality of the mods. I'll fix this later tonight! Is there any instructions somewhere in the STEP Core guide that said that the optional mods should be merged with the main file? Maybe it's just me :) After the STEP Core guide, my intension was to add one or two packs listed in the forum. One of them is the Skyrim Rejuvenated (mostly made of textures mods). Should I install the mods listed in this pack before the patches (section 2.N)? It said that many mods needs to be rewritten...what should I do now? Thank [again] :)
  6. Hello, I'm nearly done with the installation of Step Core and was wondering if it's possible to remplace some mods that have baseline quality with HQ quality. For exemple, I have installed AMidianborn Farmhouse 1k, I download the 2k version and replace it in my modlist? Do I have to uninstall all the previous mods? Some mods, like Dawnguard Crossbow Bolt Visualized have two files to install (the main file and the optional Explosive bolts Visualized HD Textures) when I add the second file, what should I do? Replace the first one? Merge them? Install both files with a different name? Other quick questions for adding the following mods to the list, after completing the STEP Core guide : - Versant: A Skyrim grass plugin - Natural Grass texture floor - A matter if time Is there any issues regarding these? Compatibility troubles? Thank for your help!!
  7. Hi there, I'm nearly done with the installation of the STEP Core and looking at the other packs. This one really looks great. There's a few things I would like to know more about before starting to install it. - The mod "Skyrim Realistic Texture overgaul Mountains" is no longer available on Nexusmods. Is there a replacement for it? (Maybe Vivid Landscapes - Rocking Stones ans Mountains Parallax) - Is it possible to install "Verdant - A Skyrim Grass Plugin" along with this pack? After which mod do I install it? This mod is also recommended on the Noble Skyrim page and there is no mods listed here for the grass textures. - What do you think about "Natural grass Texture Floor"? I was using it un the past and quite enjoyed the look. I don't want to impose my suggestions here, neither downgrading the purpose of this pack. Skyrim is such a great game and giving it more beauty is just priceless! Thanks!
  8. Hello, Many thanks for your answers! If it were up to me, I would not go to work and I would correct mods immediately :) Some additional questions to install Optimized Vanilla textures. 1- The file "High Definition Base Game Textures for Everyone (Part 1-2)" contains three folders : 00 Textures, 01 Installation Files for Non-MO Users, fomod and a wizard.txt document. Do I simply add or drag the textures folder into mod manager? I tried it yesterday and it told me invalid game data :( 2- With the new High Resolution DLC file, do I only need to replace my old files Dawnguard HD, Hearthfire HD and Dragonborn HD which are already in my Mod organizer with the new ones? (Using the Replace option?) A little bit off topic, for the prerequisites of DDSOpt do I change only the section configuration and ini or I continue the install with the 'launching an optimizing patch" section? What is the valid location where the recognized images files are located? After fixing this, everything should be good with the mods! Wish you a great day :)
  9. Hi there, I've just started to modify Skyrim with the Skyrim Revisited guide but I'm having a couple of problems with the Optimized Vanilla Textures. The page on Nexus mods have been modified two times in the last five days, I do not know how to successfully add it into mod manager. The HD textures file was downloaded manually two days ago and added to my profile in Mod organizer. (I'm not using the DDSOpt method) At that time I installed those files: Optimized Vanilla Textures SD, Optimized Dawnguard HD, Optimized Hearthfires HD, Optimized Dragonborn HD. Tonight I saw the link on Nexusmods had changed and there is only one option. My plan was to replace the files in Mod organizer with the new ones. There is now two file to download for the High definition: - High Definition Base Game Textures for Everyone (Part 1-2) - High Definition DLC for ModOrganizer Users (Part 2-2 - Extract Me) What is the right way to install it now?
