Found it. It says it is recommended not to use them together. So it's not a problem. Maybe I'm gonna use both. But I then probably have to drop a different combat esp ;)

hmm. I saw in the guide for Asis with SkyRe that Duel and SkyRe shouldn't be combined. I now use duel. And most opponents are easy, except a few they are really hard, and groups are difficult. So I'm not sure yet if I like duel, the big load is too easy. So I was thinking about SkyRe to get a little more challenge from the usual opponents.

I have a 2GB video card. I use 1K textures' date=' and optimized those for the 3 big packs, the rest is also 1K and if couldn't find something else 2K or 4K. I monitored the memory use but it is mostly around 1.7G. It sometimes peakes to 1.9/2.0, so some freezes could be blamed on that. But it also have freezes when the use is around 1.7G... CTD's only happens when I'm in my inventory or when I'm crafting or upgrading weapons. I think I've got weapon mods that are in conflict with each other? I think it's got something to do with immersive weapons. I don't really miss DSI. I think I also still have BFS disabled. Maybe I can drop duel. And use the combat module from Skyre.. Just found out that I also have to fix something In my favorites menu. I only have a small list instead of the categorized favorites menu. I've read that too many items on your crafting list may cause CTDs - but I've never experienced this myself. I use SkyRe + Duel + DSI with no problems, but I dropped EBT and BSF. I still have to find a good mix of combat mods. I now dropped DSI instead of BFS because that stopped the freezes. What I said, DSI is not really a big loss. I like EBT though. I have a lot of armor and weapon mods, maybe I should drop some. I see that you use duel combat in combination with skyre. SkyRe also has a combat module. Can I ask why you use both?

see next post, sorry double

Is was not the BFS mod. It was deadly spell impacts. I don't have random freezes anymore. I do have freezes during loading screens and random CTD's.... still haven't found out what thats all about.

Found out. Loaded an old game, found a lot of the armors back.

Got a new question. After I used the reproccer a lot of the armor from mods I installed, Icannot make them anymore at the forge? Is it correct that I have to go down the smithing tree to see those back? (only level 9 right now)

Well, unfortunately, since the ReProccer has outright replaced the old patches, you'd have to buy at least the Dawnguard DLC in order to use it. Now would be a good time, since Steam itself is having a big summer sale. If you can, get the Dragonborn DLC also so that you can use the latest versions of SkyRe. My advice. And hey, you'll also get quite a bit of new content to the game along with both.I'm really considering to buy both. My main con is that I just finished a Skyrim revisited install and have to look up what I have to adjust to get everything working. And I'm a little bit worried because then I didn't do the install like it was supposed to. edit. gonna do it, just purchased dawnguard and dragonborn. It's just like a job, have to go over the revisited guide again, adding mods and patches, cleaning stuf etc..
-
The pre-DLC versions of SkyRe didn't use the ReProccer. You had to get a patch for every weapon/armor mod.I use a lot of different armor and weapons mods. They don't have patches for SkyRe.I just started a new game, and I think most of my stuf is a little bit out of balance right now?

Finally started playing this weekend. I got a few problems. I have freezes in open outside spaces when I'm under attack and I use my fire spells. In villages and dungeons everything works fine. And when I just use my swords everythings works out also. I think its in the BFS effects mod. Gonna test that this week. I also read on these forums more people had freezes in the Wild. Maybe someone has an idea what to do? And I got a problem with the eagle eye perk in the markmanship (archery) tree. Upgraded to it last night, but the zoom didn't work. I reassigned the block key before I started my game, because some vampire mod used the same key. Maybe it has to do with that? Maybe its something in SkyRe? I don't know. (I found a solution online, gonna try that tonight when I level up again (could reload a save game to upgrade something else))

Just saw that. I don't know yet. I just did a Skyrim revisited installation, and that took me a few evenings. Im a little tedious to install dawnguard now and to look up where I have to adjust my SR installation :( I think I'm just gonna go what I have right now. Just started a new char (my second), and with my first I didn't even finish the main storyline. So enough to do. Wish that sale was 2 weeks earlier.

Can't find those, will play without then...

Going to try that. The problem comes with the patches. The patches also make use of the unofficial dawnguard and dragonborn patches. And I dont have those, and I'm not experienced enough to make them myself with Tes5edit. I'm just gonna skip those and see how it works out. edit1: It's really hard to install without the DLC's. I don't know what reproccers I need, because they al have some of the DLC's included, and then Boss is bitching about it. I really want to use SkyRe, but I can not find a solution right now if you don't have the DLC's :( edit2: On the Skyre modpage its stated you don't need the reproccer if you don't have Dawnguard and Dragonborn. I thought the goal of reproccer was to patch all the gear to work in skyre?

A few days ago finished an instal of Skyrim Revisited (altered it a little because I don't own DLC). And now I'm looking into this mod to add, and found 2 different install guides already.... Can't I just Install it and deselect brawl bugs and duel combat?? Or do I need to follow parts of those guides?

Skyproc (SUM) aint working for me. It starts, when I go over the arrows settings appears, but I can't click it. I already re-installed Java and Sum, but that didn't work out. I also tried to change the Binary in MO for SUM to the 64bit part, but MO says you can not do that? Can someone help me? So I tried to run the jar files of automatic variants and dual sheet separate, but that didn't work out either. I get a error message in skyrim about dual sheet redux patch?? edit. got them both working by adding both jar files as executables to MO. Run them both, afterwards run boss, and it is working.

I'm halfway down installing SR. I have a GTX670 2GB, and used the 1K versions of the big texture packs (SRO, Serious, Skyrim HD). The rest of the texture packs is a mix of 1k and 2k versions, and Snow & Rock (caves) even 4k (you cant chose a lower res). I did a test run yesterday, and have an average vram using of 1300. Can I upgrade the big texture packs to the 2K versions? Or would it be better to stick to the 1k versions?

But if I start a vanilla game its not there?
-
I'm on my way, finished the foundations part last night, its not as hard as I thought it would be, just time consuming. I got one problem. Every now and then I startup the game through skse and start a new game to test if it still works. After you wake up in the cart, the far horizon has a blue stripe, and the mountains on the far horizon are white, the mountains nearby are normal grey and look fine. If I start the vanilla game the horizon looks fine? What could this be? Or will it be fixed later on after I'm done installing everything?

Intimidating for sure. Sure you can reinstall the esp's. But my fear mostly comes from editing the unofficial skyrim patch.esp. That one needs a lot of editing....
-
I'm already using MO. But it still looks pretty hard to do al the stuf as described especially the edits to esp's and esm's

I was just done with installing step 2.2.6 (took me 3 days) when I found this out. I see a lot of things that are the same, but also a lot of extras what I already wanted to try (like ENB's) but didn't know if it would work with step. But I'm a little anxious to follow this guide. I got some questions. I see a lot of stuff that has to be adjusted manually. Is there a risk that I ruin my entire game, and have to start over installing everything? And is is hard to do? Sees to me it's a tedious job to do? I don't have the DLC's, so I can skip the remarks and handling about those right?
