I'm also waiting to see how the new Pascal GPUs do. Apparently the first batch 1070 and 1080 will have GDDR5 Vram with 8GB for the 1080. The HBM VRAM will be available on the second batch and will feature 16GB-32GB of VRAM. That's when I'll probably replace my GPU. No idea how much it's gonna cost though...

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Is Vividian Weathers ever going to be as beautiful as Vividian? I really miss those SMAA / SweetFX... Also has anyone succeeding in assigning fast dismount or follow/wait hotkeys in Immersive Horses? They're assigned but don't seem to work... -

Now that is weird. Did it appear by itself when you entered the room ? -

I hope he made appearance too, I really liked that frost cloud effect on Frost :D -

Could be. We'll see how it turns out! I love the new physics though. Tell me, do you know if the mods "The Real Frost" and "The Real Shadowmere" could work together with IH? I used to have them with CH but removed them with IH. The IH mod page says it doesn't work with big overhauls like CH, but these two mods only change the respective two horses, so I'm kinda wondering atm. -

I installed Immersive Horses with a clean save and the process went OK as far as I can tell. Doesn't IH seem a bit "poor" compared to CH? -

Will it be a pain to replace CH in an existing save? -
Thanks man. I just love SBT mod. Combined with immersive roads gives Skyrim a really "natural" feel. Feels like you're in it yourself.

Have fun Neo! Family comes first ;) -
Here's some more screenshots: SRLE (Vividian not VW) I still use Vividian until VW gets a bit more "finalized". I also fixed the Skyrim Bigger Tree texture stretching - though I've no idea how. This was from SRLE guide plus Enhanced Landscapes and SBT and Medium DynDOLOD.

Since I rebuilt the guide, it seems that performance had a hit on my system! I used to have ~40-50 fps outdoors but now it struggles to reach 35. I still use the CoT version. I can only assume that I didn't install something properly the first time I built the guide. Other than that, same mods, same settings, same ENB. Weird isn't it? EDIT: Bah scratch that, it was as I thought. I had forgotten to set the shadowresolution in skyrimprefs.ini to 2048 and it was at 4096 by default. lol Back in business :D -

Didn't the COT/Vividian version use SMAA as well? I thought SMAA was disabled for VW for the time being. Everytime I have this issue, it's because of bad ENB settings, not driver. Other games work fine with SMAA enabled. ;) I have the 364.51 too and it's there. -

So I put in Vivid Weathers, seems nice but lacks the realism of the previous build I must say. Also some weird flashes of light appear as you travel around the world especially if you've the sun behind you. I guess the ENB settings need a bit more tampering with. I got a few fps drop too with it. -

Awesome, I finished re-building the SRLE before VW (I had some issues after piss-portedly updated to VW), made a new profile for SRLE plus some mods I wanted in addition and now waiting for a stable guide for VW. ^^ -

Ah great! I had a hard time reading from the history logs of your guide which is gone and which is updated. Seems that several mods require update. So I'll just setup a second profile in MO with Vivid Weathers and wait. Does the new ENB have a bigger FPS hit than Vividian? As it is setup I mean. I see in its enbseries.ini file that some features are turned off, like sun glares etc. -

Yeah I know, it works with rain fine, but snow still passed through walls and everything haha So Vivid Weathers basically has the removed mods implemented? -

Should we implement it then? 'Cause I see the Real Shelter mod is gone too, and I kinda liked that one. -

Well I managed to download Vivid Weathers before it was removed. So I'm going to go ahead and try it according to the guide. Question though: Why did you choose to go to such a big overhaul? I think the guide looked amazing so far. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
George79 replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hey there, so I did the High script/esp with the new LODGen.exe. No crashes, it finished just fine. The output folder however had a whopping 1,56GB size compared to the 400MB previously. I didn't see anything different though in-game. I guess it doesn't affect ALL meshes does it? -

George79 replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hmm it seems LODGen.exe is indeed v0.9 but it didn't crash till now nor did I have this issue. It seems like something is blocking the visibility. Weird. Anyway I will get v1.0 and let you know tonight when I return from work. -

OK I will try the new FO4Edit turn it into TES5Edit and check. Do you think that's the case? Because the previous times I didn't have the issue. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
George79 replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hi again Sheson, sorry to bother you. But... is this normal? It seems that even though I have created a HIGH preset, things disappear. Very close by too. These are the exported scripts/log files https://mega.nz/#!IB5wGLKL!uW_7QOhDjQqKZO8CrE4HwWXcEm11-Gj_D5V_56oe3Sk The only errors I saw in the LodGen log are about tundradriftwood01 etc. Can you point me to the right direction to resolve this too? Thanks in advance PS: This is a new game, with a newly created .esp. PS2: Don't know if it's any use, but the Worlds folder is less in size than the previous one, by around 80-100MB. I had to re-do the whole thing because I updated ELFX to v3.0 and it was missing the its DLC patches since it's legendary edition now. -
OK, Sheson is a genius. I don't know how hard it was for him to read through my log files and scripts but he narrowed the problem down and right on the spot. Apparently, I had misread the guide's Stunning Statues installation and renamed the specified files, BUT I didn't see that they were put in a different folder in order for NSUTR to read!!! So the DynDOLOD scripts were looking for them and couldn't find them. Both locations had such a statue near them and hence the CTD!!! I re-installed Stunning Statues and properly set the file structure up and voila! Both CTDs were gone! Damn my eyes! :O_o:

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
George79 replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
By the gods! It is fixed!!! It was those missing .nif files!! I misread Neo's instructions and placed them in the wrong folder and the game couldn't find them!!! Both CTD locations are gone!!! Many thanks Sheson for hitting the bullseye on my problem! I can't believe something like was causing me so much trouble!! Many thanks again, I don't know if it was an easy task to read through my files but you're a genius!
