  1. Maybe someone can make comparison shots of the snow textures with and without TB? :)
  2. Great mod. I actually finding myself reading more books now since they look more appealing. :)
  3. hehe funny story, glad you liked it :). If someone want to take a screenshot of how the snow look on your system it would be of great help. Specify what relevant mods you are using (like enb or climate of tamriel) and if its 1024 or 2048. Its good to know how it looks on others setup, since it might be very different from what I use myself. This might help me improve the textures if necessary. The best if the screens are posted on the nexus so it can benefit other users, but you can post it her too I guess. Thanks
  4. So, have anyone had the time to test it out? Thanks
  5. Sorry, I've only clicked now... How snow can be NOT lore friendly? :D You have a very vaild point, I did not even think about that :) but then again if somone made pink snow for instance, I would consider it not to be verry lore friendly. So i guess now you know my snow is not pink :p ....Or is it? Hope you like it, if you don't, tell me why, and I will see if I can fix it. Thanks,
  6. I see a 2.7.1, not a 2.7.2. sorry, it was suppose to be 2.7.1. Guess its time for me to go to bed now... :/
  7. I have tweaked the textures slightly (2.7.1) so feel free to check it out. I'm sorry about the lacking of in-game footage (if someone wants to take some it would be great). https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/743/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D743%26preview%3D&pUp=1
  8. Thanks everyone for your nice comments. Yeah people tell me allot that my screenshots does not capture how good they look ingame. I have a rule of thumb that I always try to reseble the vanilla feeling, except when the vanilla texture looks unrealistic, which is the case with the snow texture. My texture is try to achieve a colder and crystallized look. So yeah I recommend you to try it out for yourself ingame, but not just on a sunny day, also try it during night, try it out when you are actually playing. Â
  9. I must say that these comparison shots in this tread had a really bad lightning, you can see that the planks of the vanilla texture is burned out. So my opinion is that if you are going to compare texture mods you should rather have no enb/light mod or at least have one that looks good with the vanilla texture. Because if people starts making texture mods for wrongly configured ENB it will not bled well with the vanilla and all other texture mods, we that make textures try to make them so they will look good in vanilla and resemble the same amount of reflection as vanilla, and that's how it should be. I do appreciate that he took all this time to compare them tho. I have made changes to some of the normal maps in my Riften HQ texture, so it should be better than it was. It should feel less flat now https://postimg.org/image/meipby06l/full/. Note that I use Climates of Tameriell in this screenshot (but no ENB). On skyrim nexus I also have picture of all my textures (without spec, normal and alpha), just click on the picture of the planks in the main post, or follow this link. They do ofc look better ingame as they also are intended, but it will give people the opportunity to look at the textures in detail before downloading.Â
  10. Maybe its better if you say why you don't like it... Compared to the other texture-packs out their, this one clearly represent the vanilla look of riften the best, and as far as I can tell the quality of the texture itself is very good. It have not been up-scaled or added excessive amount of contrast to make it look sharper. So what is it?
