SKSE's clear function can only do so much. If you have installed/uninstalled a bunch of script-based mods (or even non-script mods actually), you can expect some issues in your save file, especially after 2 years.
How big is that save? Also, enable Papyrus logging, play until you get a CTD, and skim through the log. You'll see just how much is left over in your save :)
I've been experiencing CTDs with Immersive Patrols. Not yet sure if it's due to a conflict with Immersive Creatures or if it's a mod error, but so far I noticed that the Dawnguard plugin in particular is causing crashes for me. For example, I was adventuring northwest of Solitude in the mountains and saw a Stormcloak patrol up ahead; as I got closer to them the game crashed. I reloaded the save and went the same way again, except this time a Dawnguard patrol spawned near the Stormcloaks and there was no crash.
I'm testing a bit now without the Dawnguard plugin, I'll report back with my findings.
The mod author included it in the description:
Known Issue: When using sleepwear while having enchanted armor or weapons equipped, the enchantments do not properly apply after re-equipping. This is a bug with the game engine, covered in more detail in the mod Loadout, with a formal petition to Bethesda for fixing it.
I tested this mod for a while and it has one rather large and unfortunate bug: If you use enchanted armor, there are times where the enchantment won't be applied after sleeping, forcing you to re-equip them. A bit of an immersion breaker for me. Of course you can always choose not to use the Sleepwear option, but in that case this mod only adds a sleeping animation really.
