  1. Anyone else finding this system broken as all hell? I followed the instructions, even the author's tutorial video. The basic sorting *seems* to work, but god forbid you try to craft anything. Crafting from "all containers" doesn't work right. I put the sorts of things one might find in a cupboard up in a cupboard (coffee pots/cups, pilot lights, pressure cookers etc.) and they're not being seen by their respective crafting stations. The fridge is equally broken. It's almost as if "all containers" works like the "only crafting stations" option. It's more random and broken than that, though. The oven won't see my bottle caps in the small safe while my workbench will. Vodka in a cupboard is seen while another item in the same cupboard isn't... This is frustrating Oh, and sometimes if you reload, or just go outside and straight back in, everything stored inside a crafting station (I set it up for each station's own supplies to go in its respective station) is deleted from the game. Yup, thousands of items, not even dropped into the main MSC thingy but gone.

  4. That's good to know. Maybe it should be put in the guide someplace (unless it is and I just missed it, entirely possible)
  5. I've noticed the weapon wheel values (in that pop-up when you switch) don't match the values in your pip-boy. They're not even close, regardless of ammo type. For instance I just grabbed Ratslayer (forgetting that one of these mods removes the weapon mods from uniques, which I dislike), and with match ammo the pipboy claims 26 dmg 55 dps while the wheel claims 23 dmg 30 dps. They're all like that, making it very difficult to choose weapons.
  6. Yes, and the normal 357 is fine. So, Lucky specifically I could fix by re-checking WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp, which is one of those un-checked by the bashed patch, but it doesn't fix other guns with the same problem, like the homemade rifle. hmm.
  7. thankyouthankyouthankyou I was having the worst trouble. This fixed it. Now to figure out why the Homemade Rifle has the same texture issue.
  8. That's perfect! Thank you again. Nopw I'm trying to figure out why a few of the guns have scrambled textures (Homemade rifle, Lucky, etc,). Kind of wish there was a troubleshooting bit at the end of the F&L guide, as idk even where to start.
  9. Thanks! Ill not be using the "readius", as it's *not* good. Tablets in the Fallout timeline, forsooth! And I'm not too sure about the authors attitude. "I made the arm wrong but I won't fix it for AESTHETIC reasons. Yeah, that's the ticket!" Just admit you don't feel like it, fella. I'd respect it more. :/ But it's good to know it's not from any mistake I made. Much obliged.

  11. Alright. How about that FNVLodGen, does it actually do anything? I cant see a difference. It almost seems like there's less in the distance, and not a single tree (which are apparently treated as objects). The LOD flickering *is* really bad, but that might just be me noticing it more because I'm looking for it. Did I mentionm the pip-boy clips inmto your arm? And this is with a *male* character.
  12. Are people's arms messed up for everyone? Like, when they put their arms on their hips their upper arms are bent inward?
  13. Quick question. You have us install Redesigned after FCO, but even though the Redesigned mod page says to put its esp at the very bottom of a load order, and even though we have it after FCO in the left pane, LOOT keeps putting the Redesigned up toward the top of the plugins, including about the FCO esps. Should we change that manually?
  14. Which I have. You misunderstood me. The "either" was referring to ENB you'd asked just previously. I've got all the bits that are mechanically required to make this stuff work.
  15. Nope, no enboost, either. The necklaces are working. A few of them just didn't load right away. Some of the (male) Powder Gangers are wearing womens' necklaces, though. It's a bit silly. The beards and the clipping are what are bothering me most atm.
  16. Oh and distributed necklaces... I don't see any necklaces, just neck seams. ediit: nm I guess it just takes time sometimes for the script to run
  17. Nope. Sorry I forgot to mention that. I'm not partial to dof (it's not how eyeballs work) and ENBs tend to be heavy on the effects. A light touch with Reshade/SweetFX is usually all I need (AA, maybe some sharpening and color correction if needed that sort of thing), though I havent added those to me Fallout setup yet.
  18. So I just finished installing (over the course of almost a week, damn that was alot) F&LNV, and I just wanted to say thanks and ask about a small issue or two. Granted, I left out some of the sillier and/or lore-breaking things like modern weapons and stupid-complicated power armor (I thought these guides were supposed to be for something like vanilla++, no? Maybe move that stuff to a separate page?). It went fairly smoothly overall. You need to add in the FCO eyeball fix to get rid of the freaky alien double-pupil eyes. ( NOT the child eye fix. I've only found it here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4727-fear-and-loathing-in-new-vegas-feedback/page-136?do=findComment&comment=114568 Don't merge it, and put it after Redesigned) I've not played far yet, so the only issues I've got are clipping. Hairdos in the character creator don't quite seem to fit sometimes, especially along the sides and neck (and the back of the neck is a little weird, too, like off-colored). And how do I stop my guy from putting his fist through his own face? When you block unarmed in 1st person your arm clips into the camera. I was planning on trying an unarmed/melee guy for once so it's a problem. Again, much obliged edit: Oh and beards are broken. They're like see-thru sometimes.
