Crashing When Finishing Unpacking Ruffled Feather Mod

I haven't the slightest idea either. But I got the mod installed so that's all that matters. -

AV has nothing to do with it. And with this mod, the installation hadn't even started yet. -

Crashing When Finishing Unpacking Ruffled Feather Mod
KageYuuki replied to KageYuuki's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
MO is up to date, yes. The mod author has since updated the page so the option to "Download with manager" is back. The other day you could only download it through your web browser and then install using the "install from archive" option. -

Crashing When Finishing Unpacking Ruffled Feather Mod
KageYuuki replied to KageYuuki's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
So I was able to install the mod. Here's what I had to do to get it to work: Extract the archive with 7zipDelete all unnecessary folders, including fomodRe-archive the three mods that were leftInstall that through MOAt least it worked. But that's the most trouble I've gotten from a mod yet. -
Crashing When Finishing Unpacking Ruffled Feather Mod
KageYuuki posted a question in Mod Organizer with STEP
With a fresh install of SKyrim, I decided I would follow the STEP Extended guide in its entirety instead of just picking and choosing like I had before. I've hit a bit of a snag installing the Ruffled Feather mod pack however. Since you can only download the mod manually, I go to install the archive with MO. Every time, when it finishes unpacking the mod and goes to bring up the installer it crashes. This is the only mod it does it with, so I'm a little confused. Is there another way I could install the mod? Any ideas would be appreciated. -

Generating DynDOLOD Encounters an Error and Fails
KageYuuki posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
With a fresh install of Skyrim, I decided it was time to follow STEP Extended completely and not just partially like I had before. Guide has been followed completely up until I went to generate DynDOLOD. Almost 40 minutes into the process I'm met with the error: "Exception in unit process line 1184: FormID [4B001015] references a master which is not available in file [7C] RelightingSkyrim_Legendary.esp" and it quits. The message it gives afterwards is: "[Apply Script done] Processed Records: 0, Elapsed Time: 38:56" For troubleshooting needs: Mod Manager of choice is Mod Organizer All mods that required cleaning were cleaned with TES5Edit Bashed Patch has been created STEP LOD Textures had been created and placed after DYNDOLOD in the left pane of MO per the guide The output folder was only 334 MB as opposed to the expected 1GB from the guide System Specs Load order (incase that has anything to do with the problem) LODGen Log Hopefully this is enough information to help with a little bit tracking down the problem. Apologies if this isn't the right forum. Edit: took out a typo and added a little more info- 3 replies

After double checking to ensure ENBoost was set up and enabling the memory patch, I ran the gme for over an hour. I went through all sorts of fights during that time and the only noticeable instance of any kind of lag was during the first few minutes. After that, I didn't pick up on anything hanging up while in combat. There was a bit of a hang up during a Black Book loading point, but that happens sometimes. I have yet to confirm it's running better on my other characters (due to a stupid mistake breaking their saves) but I have a feeling those will work fine as well. I appreciate you taking the time to help solve the issue. Once I get the other saves up and running again I'll continue getting Skyrim switched over to being closer to the STEP core.

I'll look into creating a Bashed Patch as soon as I get home along with double checking for compatibility patches. Neither LOOT nor MO have complained about the need of any patches, but I'll check again for good measure. ENBoost is set up according to STEP and has been double checked to make sure it was configured correctly. I will double check that I am using the SKSE memory patch, but from my understanding it came with the latest build of SKSE. But I could be mistaken.

I've been using several STEP recommended mods for awhile and have only recently started converting my game over to something that follows STEP moer closely. So I am - and likely always will be- a partial STEP user. My mod manager of choice is Mod Organizer.Load order is always handled by LOOTAll dirty plugins have been cleaned with TES5EditI don't use WryeBashSystem specs can be found hereSaves have been cleanedI've been dealing with this issue for a while now, but it definitely makes streaming Skyrim a bigger hassle than it should be. Nearly every time I'm in combat, the game will just freeze. The music will continue playing, but that's it. All three of my characters share this issue, so it doesn't seem to be related to a specific type of combat. (ie Magic, melee, bows) Followers also don't make a difference in the freezes either. I'm running out of ideas, so any thoughts would be appreciated! Load Order
