  1. Compared to 980 that's a pretty weak GPU. If you want to get an idea, it's the equivalent of 750Ti in terms of gaming performance. So I guess you would need to go with full performance versions for all mods and maybe even skip some.
  2. Made a quick search here, didn't see it. Zim's Immersive Artifacts, makes artifacts such as Wabbajack or Auriel's Bow way more interesting and valuable than before. Should be a nice addition for a LOTD focused gameplay imo.
  3. It's made by a guy from DirectX team so it's official, just waiting for it to reach development schedule. And funny enough, the only reason we're getting this is because that guy is apparently a Skyrim fan and he just noticed it. And according to him, the feedback posts we made on Microsoft's website hasn't even tagged this issue as a bug yet. So without him we probably wouldn't get any fix for years. Known issue for hundreds of thousands of people but not a bug in the eyes of Windows dev team.
  4. By the way I kept getting errors during the merge of WSCO plugins. Apparently BetterNPC plugin had some sort of TINT Layer error, I tried installing the plugin again didn't work. Merge Plugins couldn't fix it as well. So I just copy pasted the column from RS Children Overhaul to BetterNPC > NPC > Babette and then only I was able to merge. I have no idea why that happened.
  5. SSE High Quality Music was updated from 1.5 to 1.6 yesterday evening. There is no more a main file and an optional OLDRIM one(other than couple ESPs which I'm assuming we don't need), it's just one big FOMOD package. I don't have the old version of this file, what has changed I wonder.
  6. Cynthia as Elisif just got updated. And it looks like it's a big update. Unfortunately the Author removed old version(1.1), I went with 1.3 hopefully it doesn't cause any problems.
  7. I have a little question. I was just installing Legacy of the Dragonborn patches and there is a patch for Notice Board there as well, but the guide only suggests installing "Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul" I checked the guide and there is no mentioning a patch for Notice Board as well. So I'm kinda confused, is this patch obsolete or the guide just missed it? So far I chose not to install and going on like that.
  8. Alright boss, thanks. Is this normal though? https://i.imgur.com/eKk3A1n.jpg Everything(rocks, buildings etc, and no purple textures) seems to work just fine, it's just that trees still popping in. Do I need an extra LOD mod for that? Or do I need to set a higher NearGridtoLoad for that?
  9. Hey guys, finally upgraded my PC and it's now time to fully enjoy Skyrim again. I was just wondering if this list is up to date: Beyond Reach - Billboards included Climates Of Tamriel - Winter Edition Dark Fantasy Overhaul - Billboards Falskaar Open Cities Skyrim Static Mesh Improvement Mod SkyFalls and SkyMills Skyrim Flora Overhaul - Billboards Skyrim Spring Overhaul - Billboards Only planning to use OCS, SFO, SMIM and CoT(non-winter), so OCS, SFO and SMIM should be the only ones I need to generate LOD?
  10. Thanks for helping me out with this. Tried it and it works perfectly fine. No more issues. Honestly I'm just happy that I wasn't doing something wrong
  11. Okay, now I changed everything to English and rerun the generator and now it created a different type of BTO file and the problem is gone because the BTO is not searching for a specific fort lod texture, fort lod texture is now a part of Atlas. OLD: NEW: As you can see, now I can't particularly click on the Fort because it is a part of the Atlas file. 15BSMultiBoundNode was for the fort lod, now in the new file it directs to some other mountain texture. There are 4 entries in the old BTO and there are only 3 entries in the new file. This is getting weirder.
  12. Those are Turkish I suppose, want me to change them to English and rerun the generator? 13. It's just the default English Windows 8.1 but I'm using it with a Turkish Q Keyboard, so yeah keyboard settings are set to Turkish. I checked the file and it's like this: textures\lod\imperialfortlod.dds 256 256 1536 512 Textures\DynDOLOD\LOD\DynDOLOD_Atlas_Tamriel.dds 4096 2048 There is no 1mperialfortlod there. I found that nif in Skyrim-Meshes.bsa. Like I said earlier, I didn't have this kind of problem before DynDOLOD, vanilla was just fine. I also extracted that file and opened with nifskope, texture path looks like this; textures\lod\ImperialFortLOD.dds. I don't have too much mod installed, it's just Unofficial Patches, SkyUI and DynDOLOD stuff. I think it's just about bto files, somehow they are generated badly and i got replaced with 1?
  14. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0Fj-zafwkdiVTdGNGVfS25ERVk/view?usp=sharing Tried the new version btw, no change. Edit: So after you specifically asking for that file I checked it with nifskope and saw that fort textures were called 1mperialfortlod and 1mperialfortlod_n, instead of imperiallodfort. I replaced 1 with i and the fort is looking good now. Interesting, any idea why that happened? Bottom half of the Watchtower is still missing btw. And I think I still have problems with some other forts. So basically my problem, the name of that texture is wrong for some weird reason and it's not showing because of that? How can we detect each of them without having to check every spot in game? Edit 2: So I checked Tamriel.4.0.-4 also, same problem, 1mperialfortlod. Fixed it and the tower looks good now. I think I'm just gonna change them back to 1 and rename texture itself to 1mperialfort, would be easier compared to checking each BTO one by one. Edit 3: I think we fixed the problem. It's weird though. Any idea why that might happen? Spots I marked was purple before, now I renamed the texture and it's been fixed. I also made a speedrun from Whiterun to Markarth and then to Solitude. Couldn't see any purple fort. I think we fixed it. YAY Such a weird issue though.
  15. Tried that too, still the same. I don't know, as far as I can tell DYNDOLOD seems to work just fine except castles/forts have this texture issue.
  16. I don't really think it's about VRAM. Only castles and forts are purple, like the Watchtower(only bottom half is purple) outside of Whiterun and the Bandit Castle far behind it. LOD seems to work fine. Rocks, Windmills, Waterfalls, etc. It's all good, I just got this weird purple texture problem. There is not much to list. Number of textures is 9 and only 2 of them has corresponding value. Which is dyndolod_atlas_tamriel.dds and dyndolod_atlas_tamriel_n.dds, others don't have any value. Just empty. I also watched GP's video, still the same issue. Pretty sure followed it exactly.
  17. No issues in the log file. Also I checked some random BTO files with nifskope, I got 9 textures in BSShaderTextureSet and 2 of those have Atlas and Atlas_N files just like in your screenshot. And I also checked, I have those files in my data directory. Opened them with PS, they seems to be correct. I think I'm just gonna give up. I just wanted to see how's the performance compared to uGrids 7 or 9 and how does it look, etc...
  18. I'm using Mod Organizer so I copied the output folder(Meshes, Textures, SKSE) into /mods directory. Just like you did on the video. And then I let it overwrite other folders by moving it to the bottom. No Purple Texture problem on vanilla version, checked and unchecked HR pack ESPs, made no difference.
  19. Thanks for the fast response. I'm having purple texture problem right now, don't know if it's a common thing but most forts are purple until I get close. It's a fresh install, only got 5 mods and those are unofficial patches. Other than those I got; PapyrusUtil > TES5LODGen > DynDOLOD and the output files. DynDOLOD.esp at the bottom of the load order. Exactly followed the video. I seriously don't know what I'm doing wrong.
  20. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, you switch to another software. Simple as that. At least that's what normal people do. These days people really try hard to make others believe that some particular software they use is superior to what others use? That's some next level emotional insecurity problem right there.
  21. Do I need to tinker with Advanced Settings to get the best possible outcome or the default high settings are good enough for most setups? Also do I really need to generate texture atlas or LODs are just enough?
