  1. Hey all, So I've got Skyrim Special Edition (SSE) installed and i would like to use STEP, but i also have a couple of "problems" i hope can be answered if possible. 1. Can/Does STEP work with SSE? Or is there a separate section for SSE? It takes a long time to install STEP properly IIRC and i don't want to get half way through or 3/4 and find major issues. 2. STEP relys upon ModOrganiser to work, but MO doesn't work with SSE (officially). So would NMM be ok to use in replacement? 3. Wyre Bash says that it has "limited functionality" with SSE, is it still ok to use? I did multiple searches for things related to SSE and answering my questions and i just couldn't find anything. So i'm sorry if these have been already asked and answered. Thanks.
  2. You have to be lying. I have pretty much exactly the same mods installed as you, some of them maybe at lower resolutions. I have nearly the same computer specs as you too. Apart from i have a Ivy i5 3570k and a 3gb 7970 My Vram useage always pushes 3gb and i max out my card too. And that is with the SMCO optimizations done.
  3. I installed STEP according to the STEP guide correctly,Like i said i will wait until there is a more stable version of Skyre with STEP, For now ive dropped STEP and im having a better game with SKYRE without it.I've dropped STEP and used Texture Pack Combiner, then added some mods from the STEP list that i wanted, installed AV + Immersive patrols and creatures, weapons and armour and SkyRe and i've been solid ever since. There are some mods in the STEP list that cause a lot of issues, trying to figure it out is wasted time imo, i think you need to make the choice STEP for vanilla or SkyRe. Just strip STEP down to what you personally want, use it as a list of good mods and not a guide. I know some people have got STEP to work with SkyRe, but i either think your incredibly lucky or the whole truth isnt being told. I've spent around 2 weeks on this and its now time to admit defeat and play the game. :)
  4. Not too sure about everyone else, but i do a lot of walking in the English countryside and signs are few and far between when your looking for direction.
  5. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2947 isoku the mod developer is aware of the issue and is working on an update soon, i'd suggest for the time being this mod is temporarily disabled/removed.
  6. Yup Disabled Climates of Tam and that seems to have made my game a lot more stable.
  7. I've been using STEP+SkyRe+AV for my most recent play through without any major issues so far (only level 10). Have you disabled the mods in STEP that other people have pointed out in this thread? Some of the mods seem to crash there game, do they crash your game? I only have Ars Metallica disabled, were there any others?Well looking at Morphello's posts in this thread he seems to have more disabled. Also Farlo can you show me the bottom of your load order please as ive had a couple of CTD's. Here's my WB packages: ... and my ESP order: Have nearly exactly the same mods, installed in the same order with nearly exactly the same load order and yours is stable?
  8. Ok so installing using the same method as the other 2 times but using Wyre Bash works fine. I would suggest you take a look at Mod Organizer, it caused me no end of trouble and i followed STEP exactly twice using it. Ants in my Pants is throwing a error in pap:
  9. Getting a lot of zbloodnpc.psc and CritterFish.psc errors spamming my pap log. Can't for the life of me figure out why.
  10. Looks amazing, will definitely be install this mod when is ready. Keep up the good work.
  11. Why are people like you getting problems and people like Farlo are not getting problems yet you both use similar mods. Same can be said for Morphello and his load of mods. It just does not make any sense, im dropping STEP until a more stable SKyre version is posted and used in the future. I think a lot of it has to do with peoples ability to manipulate the mods and install them correctly. I'm not saying anyone is terrible at it, just other people have a better time with them. I personally struggle a bit, but through sheer determination i've managed to get a "stable" setup. The WATER issue was easy, i forgot to enable the Reproccer :P The texture issue on the weapon, i'm not sure whats causing it, going to dig deeper now. Disabled Guards Overhaul in case this is casuing my guard sound issue. And i'm getting CritterFish.psc spamming my pap log Which i'm currently investigating.
  12. Ok after weeks and weeks of trying, i think i'm STEP + SkyRe and other mods stable. This is my install list: This is my load order: Couple of issues i'm getting. 1. WATER plants are all black for some reason. 2. Some items have a blue texture, mainly shortspears 3. Guards conversations get cut off sometimes Will keep you updated.
  13. Ahh ok, that explains it. :)
  14. Love the sound of this mod. Possible conflicts with Dungeon Quest Awareness? Things like SkyRe probably wont like this mod either, but SkyRe isn't in STEP.
  15. Looks ok, my only gripe is the images he has on his page, those puddles look like ice sheets? With way too much shine.
