Some detailed stats about performance decrease would be nice or some users naming their graphics card and frame difference. Thank you. I know it depends on the mods etc. but some rough data wouldn't harm.

Doesn't require enb, nobody forces you to use parallax and lots of stuff ain't a devation, but I see where this is going ^^

Ah now I understand, thank you. I think 4k can easily be downscaled with texture optimizer. And I got some 1k and 2k stuff, too. Besides, "Shaders" for example is completely lowres

Had the same problem as you. unticking and deleting everything new didn't help as the tree meshes are gone. If you just install the sfo tree lod texture over it, you get funny places with all tree lods at one place. I had to reverse back to vanilla tree lod meshes and then sfo meshes and sfo lod textures after that. Deleting and unchecking the new stuff of course, too. Then everything worked again. I admit I was Screaming at times pretty loud ^^

I thought this was more of a showcase how the mod works. Maybe a big fat "INSTALLATION" and there won't be another one buggering you like me :-) and there's also a manual, ugh you really should hate me by now. Sorry, I'm still a bit ill.

Installed the mod, overwrote everything. Checked the loadorder, your mod was last, that does not matter though if I read correctly. Got papyrus, SkSE, tes5edit only as files in main skyrim folder, not used though. Made a before shot and there is not difference afterwards.
