  1. From the beginning of my play through of Skyrim I started with the old "Realistic Lighting with Customization" and I was quite happy with it. Then after come RLO v4 (and Realistic Lighting with Customization v3 deleted from tesnexus, for what reason?). I tested RLO v4 for some weeks and discovered that it was far to be a finished work and his development was quite slowing. Then I converted to RCRN 3.6, then v2.0.0 beta for several months. This lighting mod has great potential but has some flaws (concerning weather transport). I tested COT v3.5 and ELFX v0.3 and was not convinced. Now I have come back to "Realistic Lighting with Customization v3.5" (fortunately I kept a downloaded copy in my hard disk) and I have been playing with for more two months. No scripts, no loss of performances. Happy again with this lighting mod.
  2. Have you ever considered the mod Empowered Magic ? I did a search in this site, and didn't find it mentioned anywhere. It don't introduce any new spell but it is fix a lot of things in vanilla Magic system, moreover if you use it, you don't need "Acquisitive Soul Gems" mod any more. It's well balanced and suit high level play (especially those using skill uncappers).
  3. As noted in the official SMIM page in tesnexus, "Ultimate HD Fire Effects" should be loaded first so that the conflicting "firewood" files should be overwritten by those of SMIM. I have this load order in my Wrye Bash installer: https://s12.postimg.org/3qz28dxpp/image.jpg Tested and the Camp fire look looks way better than the load order proposed by STEP 2.2.6. Also SMIM page don't mention any conflict with the official skyrim patch (maybe the author has resolved the conflicts?).
  4. Hi, thanks for all the great work. Just wanted to point out a clipping issue between: - Consistent Older Peoples (v1.5 tested) - FemFeet by Phygit (integrated in XCE 1.13) the meshes causing the problem are: Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\femalefeet_0.nif Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\femalefeet_1.nif the foot of all vanilla female NPC look right except those affected by the mod consistent older people. Edit. I have even used "loose files" and didn't make any difference. New release of the mod COP v1.6, changelog: 2013-07-21, 1.6 - USKP realignment update (remove Isabelle Rolaine, tweak Gerda). (I have already done these changes myself without knowing the new release)
  5. RLO is an unfinished work as I have tested it for a week, also team that work on it is not organized at the present time. RCRN support any thunder and audio weather mod including: - Lightning During Thunder Storms - Immersive Thunder
  6. Awesome mod, I'm using it, precisely version beta 2.0.0 which work fine with STEP. The next version will support Dragon Born DLC.
  7. Yes I mean only some tweaks can cause this, I mentioned iLargeRef in my first post since I already found it suggested in the web for problems related to CTD and slow/infinite load screens. I only hope STEP team can take a look at this point in future releases.
  8. Pretty sure that the INI tweaks provided by STEP cause the very slow and even the infinite Skyrim load screen (yes it happened to me this week). I reverted to vanilla INI files (since I had a backup) and just added manually the essential tweaks, and not only the infinite skyrim load screen disappeared but I gained some 200% speed in time of loading savegames from Skyrim.
  9. I prefer the modular way. I use all ESPs except Civil War and Battles (don't like finding too much soldiers in my roads and rarely play the civil war part of the game). Excellent mod.
  10. I have some notes about the current release 2.2.5. First the INI tweaks are not optimal and can cause some problems for users, especially the line iLargeIntRefCount in my my opinion can cause the famous "infinite load screen skyrim" or very slow loading screen. That was my case. Also INI tweaks from “Enhanced Blood Texturesâ€, are no more needed since this mod has now proper INI config file which add these tweaks. Also "the book opening animation" tweaks, some people may like, others not. I have also compared the mod "HD Linens" with vanilla, and ended using vanilla, since they look older and more natural. Thanks to STEP team for all this awesome project.
  11. This mod change and add too many things; the changes made to perks I'm not sure they are all natural but follow the taste of the author only. I don't use it.
