*blink* Wait - UseCombinedObjects should be 0? Just to clarify, there are places in Concord where I've found, say two typewriters, one atop the other, or two teddy bears semi-occupying the same space. Clicking on one of them causes a CTD, so I've learned to either ignore them or to use the console to disable one or the other. Which command (UseCombinedObjects=0, or UseCombinedObjects=1) fixes that problem? Or am I completely off-base here? (or does the new worldspace patch fix the problem right out of the gate?) -

I've actually discarded both the Suble.enb and the Photorealistic.enb, and am using the NAC enb from the Natural and Atmospheric Commonwealth page (I've also grabbed his interior lighting mod - I'm liking the whole "one stop shopping" thing. Your mileage may vary, but I'm fairly pleased with the results thus far. Of course, (I haven't really be any further than Concord, so...) -

In my case (I had a similar issue, where things vanished completely) I had to add those lines to my fallout4.ini - it didn't work when I added them to the custom.ini, but placing them in the actual fallout4.ini solved my problem. -

Oh, no - I think it's perfectly fine the way you wrote it. It's more like I was half asleep when I read it! I somehow missed the whole "texture" part. My fault entirely! Having never played Fallout 4 (or any other Fallout game, actually) prior to finding your guide, I just dove right in, sometimes without even understanding what the mods you were suggesting did, or how they worked, or why they were selected. For example, I had no idea what all the Settlement mods were for, because I had no idea there were even settlements in the game! I just figured it would be best to follow in the footsteps of someone who clearly knew what they were doing, rather than struggling in the deep end for months on end. So, when ALL the PA textures were purple, I was pretty sure there was a common link, and when you mentioned ZW, I peeked into the folder, saw no textures and everything fell into place. Thanks for always being so willing to help out when I botch things I don't quite understand yet. :o) -

Here's what it looks like in the Workbench menu (doesn't matter what color or group) And here's what it looks like painted on the PA (Black, in this case) ZW is Zephyr Warrior's F4 Power Armor Overhaul? If so, then yes. [Edit] Posted wrong picture in second link. Sorry! [Edit Again] Actually, I think I screwed up the installation. My ZW folder doesn't have any textures at all. I see they're separate downloads, which I apparently somehow missed during the installation. I'll review the wiki page and see which ones (if any) I was supposed to install. Unless you doubt that's my problem, I'll just say, "Thank's for pointing me in the right direction!" -

I can see it okay (It's a little hard to miss!) Right-clicking doesn't seem to do anything while I'm inside the power armor. Here's it's normal size, outside of the PA. I get that it's supposed to be projecting onto the visor (or whatever), but it just seems...huge. Also, one other problem is that when I'm at the PA workbench, nearly all of the colors in the paint options display in the workbench as purple-pink (which I assume means I'm missing some textures?), but it's practically ALL of them, regardless of what category (solid color, camouflage, faction, etc) I pick. Since it's all paints, I thought perhaps you might know what I should be looking at? -

Slightly off topic, but I was wondering... is there a way to reduce the size of the PipBoy display when wearing power armor? -

I'll give that a try. [Edit] Success! That took care of the problem! Thank you very much! -

I believe it's 5.0.1? It's about 168,000k. [Edit] 160,000K. I misread. -

Yes, just the males. I have these two lines in my Fallout4Custom.ini: bUseCombinedObjects=1 bUsePreCulledObjects=0 Is that right? [Edit] I just tried again on a new game with the same results. I had for a while tried Rustbelt Flora in this game, but then removed it, so I was just checking to be sure. Also (probably unrelated), I was trying NAC with the new NAC ENB and NAC Interiors, but disabling them made no difference. I'm sorry to be a pain - I'm just not sure what to look for. I appreciate your help! -

Radaway - No sir, Wasteland imports is in my load order. CBBE - Thanks. It's probably on my end. Sanctuary City - I just mean the town near Vault 111 (is it called Sanctuary Hills? Sorry!) But this may be a larger problem. Here's the screenshot of the rowboat before and after If I turn around, the hillside behind me disappears, and here's a new thing (for me) - the Red Rocket outside Sanctuary Hills before and after. The difference is pretty much a single step in either case. From this point forward, approaching Red Rocket, there are no walls at all - you can see everything just hanging in mid air. I'm using THIS one. Is there a better one for males? I have it loaded just before CBBE in my load order. -

Is it normal that not all the female bodies are CBBE? I'm noticing that sometimes I'll dispatch two raiders at the same location, and one will be CBBE and the other appears to be Vanilla, or perhaps Enhanced Vanilla? Also, I had a problem with RadAway not working. there was no description for it's medicinal value, and taking it did nothing to relieve the loss of available hit points. I looked it up in FO4Edit, and the last mod that touched it my load order was the ModWikiCore patch (I believe). In the patch there was a "description not found" reference. I copied the data from one of the other mods listed into that one, and the problem corrected itself. I'm assuming that means that I seem to be missing whatever mod the reference pointed to? (I'm sorry to be vague, I didn't think about screenshots or anything). It's fixed for me, I just thought I'd mention it in case it ended up being important. Lastly, I have one other issue. It's northeast of Sanctuary City. south of Lone Home. If I walk along the shore of the river running behind Sanctuary City (on the opposite side of the river from the City itself) heading towards Olivia (I think?), there's a row boat on the shore that blinks in and out of existence, and in that same area, it seems as though sections of the landscape also disappear. It's odd because I can see ground, but I would swear that was a hill there a minute ago, and I can't walk in that direction (as if the hill is still there, but invisible). -

Thanks. I gave it a shot (hope I did everything correctly). I removed the ingestibles that referenced Take Cover, but wasn't able to locate any holotape that seemed to belong. Lastly, I right-clicked and chose "Clean masters" (which didn't appear to do anything - or at least, didn't bother to announce that it had). We'll see how it goes! -

Is it safe to remove Take Cover as a master for the ModWiki-Crafting Redirect Patch? -

When using button-lowered weapons, my stance is different in 1st person than it in is 3rd person. Is this normal? or am I missing an animation or something? -

Another question: I'm still using the Subtle ENB mentioned at the top of the guide, so I've installed NAC (as opposed to NAC-PRC). The latest version of the MODWiki worldspace patch requires NAC-PRC (and the Far Harbor / NukaWorld patches, too). Now, in the past I've had some luck with opening the Creation Kit and deleting the unwanted masters from there, but when I load it the Creation Kit, it does not list NAC-PRC or either of the other two as masters, so I can't actually delete them. When I load it up in FO4Edit, selecting the MODWiki worldspace patch alone loads up several masters automatically, but none of the NAC-PRC files are included (and yet it loads without error). But not having the NAC-PRC files in Mod Organizer indicates that the three files are missing masters to the ModWiki patch. So... how do I fix this? I tried "clean Masters" in FO4Edit, but nothing appeared to happen. -

It's a good thought, too! I checked in FO4Edit, but neither of the two weapons (so far) appear there. One is described as a ".32 Compact Pistol", and the other is a "Pipe Machine Gun" (I think), which happens to use .32 rounds. I found the .32 Compact Pistol in the weapon list of Project Overlord but I haven't been able to find the other one yet. (And to tell the truth, I have no idea what to do when I DO find it!) [Edit] Insert face palm graphic here. I think I've figured it out. Project Overlord comes in three parts. Two are bundled assets, and the third is the .esp file. It would appear that I have somehow managed to "replace" rather than "merge" when adding the .esp. And as far reaching a mod collection as that is, I'm kind of amazed that this is the ONLY problem I've seen so far! Sorry to waste your time. If anybody needs me, I'll be sulking in the corner, mumbling incoherently about my own idiocy... -

I've an interesting problem. I've only played for a short while, and everything seems to be working perfectly well, except that I have some invisible weapons. They function, which is kind of amusing, as my stalwart hero is bopping about the wasteland with his hands empty like a kid playing cowboys and indians, only there's blood and noise, and bad guys falling down. Now, I'd assume it's just a missing mesh and/or texture, but here's the thing (and I'm hoping it gives someone smarter than me a clue where to look!): It applies to more than one weapon, but ALL of them are .32 caliber. So... any ideas where I should be looking for the root cause? [Edit] I forgot to mention that the weapons are missing their images in the weapons menu in the Pip-Boy, too, which again points me back to textures and meshes I would think. But what mod would affect the textures of all versions of .32 weapons? -

Slightly off-topic (unless you're a starving radiated cowboy or something), but I really like this. It only applies to revolvers (a design decision I agree with), but it's kinda cool. So is this, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra esp. Still, it would be a hoot to use after targeting inside of VATS. -

By the way.... how do we handle leveled lists in Fallout 4? Wrye Flash (or whatever it's calling itself these days) isn't much help. I'm sure that's at least in part to the complete absence of tags on any of the mods, and since Loot doesn't seem to make any recommendations on that score, what do we do? -

Ack! No deal! Yours is by far the best guide I've seen for Fallout 4. I'm learning quite a lot, thanks to your guide, and the comment section. And some day, with a little luck, I'm actually going to stop tinkering and play the dang game! But hey - maybe there's stuff in there that's usable?
