i am not sure cos I am having my own issue at the moment which is a little odd. When start up the game all i get the spinning dragon symbol no main menu and no music. -

yes the dark areas in the starting dungeon is a known issue just ignore it. however there will some other dungeons where you will need a torch or the candlelight spell this the combination of the ENB and ELFX. -

thanks for these I'll update things tomorrow now as I am not at home. As for XPMSE I'll probably not add that as nothing has changed from base so it would only be a version number change but i will check it out. -

ahh i didn't realize that as i don't use Windsong which is option 1 of the NPC Retextures I say disable Superior Lore-Friendly Hair - HD textures and let windsong win. -

For the most part where mods have been updated from base I also have these updates in my guide. If i have missed something it is because either I forgot or it was just a version number change and nothing has changed from SRLE Base. I also provide an updated CR so you won't need Neo's outdated version. -

even better Quest Objective Patches should show as Cyan which I have updated i can't spot 2 versions of Enhanced Vanilla Trees - Billboards. this sound like a face gen issue make sure the NPC Retexture section 1s overwriting as it should or you might have to regenerated face gen through the CK. -

i haven't been able to use the substitute feature yet (can't work it out). So far from my testing you need all ingredients when remaking potions this could be very expensive. no i didn't find everything as loot had to buy some ingredients from the herbalists (which is annoying cos no one in ~White Orchard carrys Necker hearts AHHH) Edit: figured it out you need to enter mediation mode and click on the ingredients then press s this will then cycle through the substitute ingredients. helps to read the manual. Wish i knew that before i wasted a ton of cash on stuff that i may not of needed. -

@Kelmych: What I did was left most things default expect for animations during combat and the number of potions, oils and bombs created I change that to 3 so it more like vanilla. I did manage to get 1 Necker heart but that was a random drop form the group of Neckers near the Sawmill in White Ochard. I have so far been unable to create any bombs as the grapeshot bomb requires 2 necker hearts which means i can't destroy any of the monster nests very annoying good loot going to watse. I am about to face the griffin and just hit level 4. So far i managed to create: Specter oil necrophage oil Hybrid oil Swallow I also have enough for Killer Whale (but don't see the need for that at the moment) I did end up having to buy and load a Alochest to made this thou. -

It looks OK to me although there mods that i don't use so not sure about conflicts recommend checking in xedit for major conflicts. -

looks ok to me but i will say that any mod that gets merged in the Bash Patch doesn't need to be left active in the left pane this will reduce youe overal esp count as it appear your current above the max 254 -

well i suggest you ignore it then these actaully don't do any harm you could remove manually which i don't recommend unless you know what you are doing. -

oh ok quick report everything is working as it should be only done a few contracts and killed and few Gouls and Drowners. Gameplay with primer really changes things no longer I can spam oils and potions. creating them requires more effort and more ingredients. It is going to take me some time to get used to things again not having played the game for over a year; but all in all i am enjoying play it again and maybe this time I will actually complete it. my only debate in my head (cos i know it's coming) Triss or Yennefer choices choices. Further update: So I have played for a few hours now and i can say that it will take a while to get used to primer (still not used to be honest) as that really change gameplay. Best advice so far is get the recipe for alcohest as soon as you can and start brewing you'll need it. Getting ingredients for oils early on will be a pain I didn't have specter oil or swallow for the first noon wraith Witcher contract fight which made it tough going but is still do able. I do find the fact that potions bombs and oils don't auto refill quite annoying I wish there was a setting in the mod menu to switch that back on. I have turned of Looting animations and well as animation during combat as if find that slow me down and can interrupt combat and will get you killed. -

i tried that and it only affects exiting mediation and not entering. entering Mediation was still bound to L. -

these are just some notes i am writing up as I go through my new install that might help people: GOG GOTY Edition re-downloaded and a vanilla backup created time to reinstall mods and see what's what.NMM now pointing to GOTY had to input the file path manually as auto search didn't find it.Unification patch Installed.configured doc files now on to installation of mods.All NPC Scabbards 1.22 including DLC had to be installed manually.didn't install any mods from "The People" Section as i like Vanilla. didn't install BLOOD, Improved Sign Effects, More Blood, SPLASH, WEATHER (due to not wanting the hassle of dealing with mod kitchen and script conflicts.)Primer installed as per install guide but i am use GOTY removed line 287 from The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\Mods\modPrimer\content\scripts\game\gui\main_menu as per instructions from mod author (quick merge patch created)used Always Neovalen EXP (GOTY).Autoloot used the following input settings this allows loot radius to be bound to E but only if you hold for 2 seconds[Exploration] IK_E=(Action=AutoLootRadius,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.2) [Horse] IK_E=(Action=AutoLootRadius,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.2) [swimming] IK_E=(Action=AutoLootRadius,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.2) Frindilyhud and primer had 2 conflicts no auto solved in the ingame.ws: 1 st - used B (too line 217) 2nd Conflict used A Game wouldn't launch after the installimg of friendlyhud as per forum suggestion removed The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\Mods\modFriendlyHUD\content\scripts\game\gui\menus\alchemyMenu.ws game launched. Didn't install Selectable Main Menu as i didn't see the point. All required mods installed and game launches no issue will now play for a bit and report back. Primer Keybinds was changed: IK_N=(Action=ExitMedState,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.5) in game Alchemy key was also change to N in game Mediation was changed to F8 (this for personal reasons cos of my one handed keyboard) -

yes your Relinker output should be overwriting scripts from LOTD, Miscellaneous Merge, Bathing in Skyrim Merge, and iNeed. Yes you con remove that merge as it isn't required but the CR but you'll have to reun Dyndolod and DSR Skyproc pacther -

yeah maybe that is likely cause that was actually created by HiShutup and Ganda so we could do the collectables merge.
