  1. Ta muchly. I noticed that after I posted making that part of my post redundant. My bad :/ Still, just curious, could anyone provide a clear answer why BOSS is still used as opposed to LOOT?
  2. Tried to see if I could run Perkus Maximus on my modded setup. Of course that thing has all the instructions based on LOOT rather than BOSS so that left me stumped. Are there any plans to integrate this at any point or has anyone managed to work out a BOSS load order for it? It's always struck me as kinda strange that SR:LE uses the "Obsolete" load-order software as opposed to LOOT, especially as Mod Organizer has it integrated into its own system.
  3. After testing out the trial version of Bandicam I may just go for that instead rather than dicking about with enb again >.< Not sure if I'll have to set up a full screen windowed mode of Skyrim in order to be able to operate it though.
  4. Hi, I want to record some Let's Play footage and thought I'd give D3DGear a bash. Having tested it on a load of other Steam games everything worked very seamlessly. Then I get to Skyrim, run SKSE from MO as per usual and nothing comes up. Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone recommend a fix or know how I should set it up?
  5. Seems you have to select the "Relax" option in the options wheel rather than "wait" and avoid the dialogue options whenever possible. I still count this as less than ideal but at least I can leave them to their own devices without them committing suicide... that is until they aggro something far bigger than them :/
  6. Nope. Thing is this keeps happening whenever I set him to 'Wait' He proceeds to idle about and then randomly sprint in whatever direction for a few seconds. Likewise each of the followers seems to bleed out and die with barely any hits. I seem to remember them being a bit tougher than this.
  7. Here is an amusing glitch I encountered on my latest playthrough. Recruited my first follower (Faendel) and told him to wait for me near the edge of a cliff. Bugger sandboxed for a bit, wandering about, then ran off the cliff and died. Gotta admit, I laughed but this may prove to be a problem later. Thoughts? Is this something that can be mitigated by a setting in EFF?
  8. Thanks. i found that Battle Hardened Warpaints was conflicting. I take it that removing those scripts from warpaints might fix it? Edit: Yes. Yes it did. *phew* finally got this monster installed :D Gotta say. Much easier than when I attempted it last year
  9. Ok. Upon reverting to the baseline SR:LE loadout everything works fine so nothing wrong with RaceMenu as far as I can tell :) So I guess the fault lies within one of the mods I installed on top of it soooo I guess that's that as far as you guys are concerned. Going to try and work out which one it is by process of elimination. Hopefully won't be any of the particularly nice ones.
  10. Ok, seems a fresh Race Menu installation did not fix the issue. It's possible there's some sort of conflict going on but I see no reason why that should be. Just installed the loose base scripts to see if that fixes matters Edit: Aaaaand nope. I seriously don't understand why this is going on. Is there anyone who could walk me through exactly what you do when you encounter the base script error as I must be doing something wrong? Note: This seems to have started happening following the latest MO update. I tried a manual installation in the Skyrim data folder but that did no good. I have been building on from SR:LE in an experimental build, integrating some choice mods such as Interesting NPC's and the JK's Towns and Cities mods. It's this build wherein I keep getting the missing base scripts error for Race Menu. I'm gonna try a systematic check using the standard SR:LE loadout to see if it could be a conflict with one of the new mods while I wait on any replies.
  11. Originally, no. But since the instructions for fixing the base script error on the mod's home page said that I shouldn't, I haven't been. I will try a fresh install when I get home from work and see if it will function a bit better with an updated SKSE.
  12. I cannot seem to go a day without something going wrong XD I keep getting the error about Race Menu base scripts at the start of each game despite following the instructions on the Mod page. Edit: Just updated SKSE to 1.7.2 in the hopes this may help. But any advice when it comes to installing Race Menu would be appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Ok, my Java has just updated to Version 8.31 and now SUM won't work saying the "javaw.exe" executable can't be found. This is despite installing it and making sure it did so correctly. Edit: Disregard that, I fail at following instructions. Forgot to set SUM as executable.
  14. Yeah, not activating Frostfall fixes the issue. However now I'm stuck getting out of the tower and jumping onto the inn roof. My health bar just zips to nothing the moment I land.
  15. Ok... that was weird. Played through on the main opening. First thing that happened was the Horse Thief died before we reached Helgen. Whole sequence played along just fine without him, though. :P Then I froze to death before I reached the chopping block. um... anything that might fix this? I'm gonna turn Frostfall off first and see if that works.
  16. Just updated my SK:RE build and I really want to start a SK:RE: REGS compatible build. But owing to the fact that JK's Skyrim has really come on leaps and bounds recently I'm wondering if I should just wait a bit and see. Heaven knows I really could do with making sure SK:RE runs okay in any case before I start mucking with the load order. (Even though I'd personally consider some of the additions REGS brings like Interesting NPC's to be essential :P)
  17. Shortly after I posted this I did just as you said, to be sure. It was a BOSS ordering issue I'd missed and it worked fine :)
  18. After a strenuous but largely un-problematic installation I finally reached the point where I could start the game... And got this with the music playing and me unable to actually open anything. Any suggestions?
  19. Right. as far as I can tell I'm nearly there. I keep encountering this problem when it comes to sorting the masters on the SR Conflict resolution patch and saving afterwards an "Assertion Failure" message pops up "wbImplementation.pas,line7907" Does anyone have any idea why this may be the case? Edit: Further to this (and after deactivating all SR:LE mods) I checked for errors and found this: [00:00] Checking for Errors in [A8] SR Conflict Resolution.esp[00:00] Whiterun [CELL:00009655] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 8,-5)[00:00] CELL XLCN - Location -> [1B00BBE9] < Error: Could not be resolved >[00:00] [CELL:00009636] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 8,-4)[00:00] CELL XLCN - Location -> [1B00BBE9] < Error: Could not be resolved > Edit X2: Right, after deciding to go ahead regardless of this just to see if everything runs properly I encounter a problem that I'm pretty sure is going to be all my fault but I'm damned if I know how to fix it. After loading up skyrim via Mod Organizer and SKSE the game opens in a small window in the corner of the screen. The Dragonborn sigil is there along with some ENB data but soon after the whole of my monitor blacks out and then I get a message informing me that my AMD Driver has stopped working and recovered successfully. The music continues to play but no visual (and sometimes this process continues to repeat until I shut it down via task manager) I've updated my drivers and it's an AMD HD 7900 series card that I have running with 3g of vram. Just trying to work out what the obvious problems may be before I start going through the SR:LE process from scratch. Edit x3: It also seems to be affecting vanilla Skyrim as well. Make of that what you will.
  20. I'm presuming by "Betas" you're referring to the Dagi Raht, yes? In which case where might I get hold of them? There doesn't appear to be a link in the guide though I suppose I should really check Nuska's Nexus profile as they may have them there. Thanks for the info on EGO and Inigo. I'll keep it in mind when I double check my load order.
  21. Hi. First of all, (obligatory and well deserved compliment for all the work you are doing on this) goes here :P I'm gunning through a SR:LE + REGS install and am encountering a few issues towards the end when it comes to the Conflict resolutions. Mostly these are on REGS' end as their guide hasn't been updated in a few months but I've no doubt some of it has to do with the odd couple of liberties I've taken with some extra mods I'd like to include and probably some part of the guide I've overlooked (I'm very new to all of this.) I wanted to integrate the Epic Gameplay Overhaul mods https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52487/? (Particularly Civil War and Dragon Combat) as well as Inigo https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40960/? Are there any known incompatibilities with these mods that would prevent their use with SR:LE and REGS? Also I did notice that the Dagi Raht file has been hidden on the nexus and has been for at least the past two weeks as far as I know (the amount of time I've been working on this :P). Is there anything else that can be used in the meantime for khajiit bodies or am I overlooking something?
  22. Just been running through a SR:LE + REGS installation now I have the hardware to support it. Do you plan on updating the conflict resolution guide any time soon as it makes references to Touring Carriages? Also will you be including JK's Riften?
  23. Just attempting a SR:LE combined with Real Explorers Guide to Skyrim. Can I assume that mods featured in STEP extended not included in the two guides are covered/not needed? It's just, as the OP said, you'd think a good number of STEP mods would be essential based on the abundance of hi-res textures and certain animation and audio tweaks.
  24. I'm actually considering going for SR:LE + REGS. It is, barring a few other choice mods, my ideal build. However, even with Another Start I'm still struggling to get through the Helgen sequence. It may simply be the case that my hardware isn't up to scratch as much as I'd hoped. I have just over 1gb of Vram at my disposal. May have to add improved graphics card to this year's birthday list :P
