Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
hazelwolf replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
I reinstalled and re-ran the scripts yesterday. I'm not sure whether this fixed it but I decided to start a fresh save just to see if I could eliminate the possibility that there was something inherently wrong with the generated files. Worked fine. Then I loaded a previous cleaned save. Worked fine. Not sure where I may have messed up but now it works as it should (so far) Thanks for the help and the offer. Will take better care in future and see if this one works ok for now. -

Which I had done. Indicating the possibility they weren't generated properly when I ran the script. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
hazelwolf replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Thanks for the instructions, Sheson. I followed them and even cleaned the save file for good measure but it doesn't appear to have had any effect on restarting the mod in-game and I just cannot activate it in the MCM. It just gives me the error message "DynDOLOD cannot read data from DynDOLOD_Tamriel.json" in the top left corner of the HUD whenever I go outside. Unless you have any other suggestions I'm planning on waiting 10 in-game days for the exterior cells to reset (No DynDOLOD plugin enabled) Clean the scripts again, then try again with a completely fresh install of DynDOLOD. Looks like the Dragonborn is having a lengthy break at the inn :P If this fails to work my best guess is that I simply start again from scratch and remember not to be such a bonehead in future *sigh* (Edited to provide info that was missing from original post) -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
hazelwolf replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Like a twit I forgot to disable DynDOLOD in the MCM as per the instructions before reinstalling the update. As a result I cannot re-enable it there. Luckily my previous save was in an interior cell but I'm not sure if that makes any difference in terms of getting it to run. Is there a way I can make good on this mistake or will I have to start a fresh save? -

DynDoLOD has recently updated to 1.11. Will this be reflected in the guide soon? -

Distant Ice Floe Missing Water Texture
hazelwolf replied to hazelwolf's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I'd like to report that installing DynDALODs fixed the issue so it's more than likely that I had installed something wrong with the Skyrim Distance Overhaul mod previously. Thanks for the pointers, everyone. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
hazelwolf replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Seems I didn't. Upon updating, everything is now running as per the guide (will edit this if it something happens during the process) I gotta stop doing this "I read the guide" thing before asking as it is clearly lies on my part :P I guess this is what happens when I go away to actually play the game occasionally. I keep overlooking the updates. Thanks for the pointer, I'll make sure to go through stuff with a fine tooth comb before flailing at the forums in future. Edit: No problem with installation... Though goddamn, rebuilding this whenever the guide updates is going to be gruelling :P Further edit: Encountered no problems so far and this mod looks absolutely amazing! It's great being able to look out over the landscape, see some tiny insignificant piece of scenery and think "I can go there!" -

To version 3.1? Yes, last month. -

Just kicked up an error the moment I started running DynDOLOD Worlds.pas. "Error in unit 'lodgenalt' on line 10 : Undeclared Identifier 'wbOutputPath'" I've been following the SR:LE guide but I figured I'd get an idea of just what I'm looking at here. -
Distant Ice Floe Missing Water Texture
hazelwolf replied to hazelwolf's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I did in the SRLE: feedback thread before I was kindly informed to take trouble-shooting elsewhere if the problem persisted. The solution posed was to reinstall both Real Ice and RW2. Doing so has made no difference so if this is still an issue after I've activated DynDOLOD I'll try deactivating landscape mods until I can narrow it down. -
I have encountered a rather unfortunate issue when it comes to distant Ice Floes. I'm using the Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition pack and have followed the instructions to the letter. Unfortunately this has resulted in this: Ignore the muddy brown sky, that was a mod conflict. As you can see, though, the water texture has completely disappeared around those ice floes. They are fine close up. I've reinstalled both Realistic Water 2 and Real Ice mods so I haven't the foggiest what to do to fix this. Any thoughts and solutions would be very appreciated.

Sorry to be a pain but if anyone could help me with the issue in my previous post I'd be very appreciative (The missing water texture on distant ice floes). I'm guessing it's something I've failed to do when installing either the lighting, water, ice or distant terrain mods. Narrowing it down to any of those would help a lot so I can try reinstalling them. -

I've noticed something odd with the distant terrain when it comes to ice floes and bergs. It's like it isn't playing ball with the ENB or the Lighting. Any advice as to what's going on? I should point out it looks nothing like that up close, only beyond a certain distance. -

Funniest thing. My character's stamina and health refuse to regenerate. I'm a one-hit kill from the beginning of the game. I should point out that I do have Disparity installed on top of SR:LE but I can't imagine how that may be factoring in unless I've input some weird values. Edit: A little console tweakery with pleyer.setav Health/Stamina 100 managed to reset those values, thankfully but I'm puddled as to how they ended up at -10 in the first place. Regen now works fine so all I can assume is that something set my base health far too low. I did spend a lot of time mucking around with the character creator and the MCM menu so perhaps it was some nerf effect from iNeed or something else taking its toll. *shrug* -

Just been browsing the hotfiles on the nexus and I am loving the sound of this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63478/? There is a CoT patch coming soon apparently so I look forward to trying it out. -

Been getting a consistent issue whenever I make the bashed patch: I've updated the Immersive Armors mod but I still keep seeing this. Is anyone else encountering this? -

@ Neo. Just checking, seeing as you are the author. Is the reason you've removed coin replacer from the list due to possible PerMa conflicts? I rather liked that one. Disregard that. I can't read :P -

Seems the Ruffled Feather has updated to V. 3.2 Should we upgrade? (Swear I'm spending more time updating and problem fixing than actually playing. Modding is fun! :P) -

Yes, it worked. Dumb-foundingly simple when I think about it now XD I never realised you could move the files around like that in the installation. Thanks :) -

The text files only refer to manual installation. Got no problem with doing that but I'd prefer to find a way of keeping it all within MO. The problem I find is setting the Data directory. The mod has multiple ones. -

Seems legit. BOSS may be old but at least it's capable provided you are able to sort out the load order, I guess. -

I think I'll look for it properly later. So far finding more questions than answers and I'm really only interested because of how well supported LOOT seems to be :P If I may ask a possibly noobier question though. I'm struggling with installing Better Males properly owing to the way the archive is structured (With its various optionals and no Fomod) Not sure if it's the way I'm reading the SR:LE instructions or if I've set up MO wrong (Both are possible at the same time, I grant). Anyway, if someone could provide some decent instructions that would be appreciated, thanks.
