  1. When Cleaning the vanilla esms I get several navmesh errors: plugin contains 57 deleted navmeshes which cannot be deleted can this be ignored?
  2. Hi. I'm workign my way through the guide and at the very last of the prerequisites I'm getting an error with the nvidia inspector. I couldn't find the correct version - not sure if the download link still points to the correct file but the version 2.13 inspector that I found is giving this error when I try to load the .nip file and again wehn I try to save any changes: drs_savesettings failed "nvapi_access_denied" anyone else have this problem?
  3. The faq said to launch using the default method but I couldn't figure out what that is. Should I launch with skse or Skyrim or Skyrim launcher? (all through MO)
  4. ok - I set MO to unpack all the BSAs so the unofficial high res patch should have unpacked. So I can just untick the esp and be good?
  5. This is probably simple but I want to make sure. I did the DDSopt of vanilla textures and unticked the HighResTexturePack esps under the plugins tab. Now the Unofficial high res patch is missing those as its masters. Do I need the UHR patch after using DDSopt? Thanks
  6. I'm following through the beginning of the DDSopt guide and trying to get DDSopt to extract the BSAs for me. I have set all the settings and set to run as administrator but when I hit process to extract them it seems to run through all the files in the BSA and do nothing to them. The output folders are empty. I do the same process on the same settings with BSAopt and it extracts everything just fine. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? When I try to do the rest of the guide with DDSopt will it work correctly?
  7. can loot be used as an exact replacement for boss with STEP?
  8. I tried searching for a while and couldn't come up with anything. BOSS doesn't recognize aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp and AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp. anyone know where in the load order they should go? Also in my searching I saw that amidianborn skyforge weapons.esp should not be activated. Does that apply with STEP?
  9. For files like this that I can't add to my Core installation - can I still use the STEP patch if my installation is not exact?
  10. When you merge a mod with either the same mod or one that uses the same folder and there happens to be the same files in there already does it automatically rename or replace the file?
  11. Thanks! everything worked but I will add that after moving the directory, click on settings and under the general tab change the directories for downloads and webcache to reflect the move.
  12. Thanks wolverine! So just to clarify - I should move the directory to the skyrim/data directory? not the main skyrim directory?
  13. Hi all. Thanks for this awesome project you have put together. I'm new to Step and installing for the first time. Following the instructions, and I get to the MO section and install the prerequisites and then MO but I didn't see that I needed to install it to the Skyrim directory so it is in the program files directory. I moved on with the steps and finished ini and graphic settings and started part two to find out I supposed to install in the Skyrim directory. I'm not familiar with the file structure of the program and I don't want to mess anything up. My question is how move MO to the right place. Can I simply copy it all over our do I need to reinstall? Thanks for the help!
