  1. If MCM is not working there is a troubleshooting console command. Look under troubleshooting on the description page of the mod on Nexus. setStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
  2. When you rerun AV do you have to restore all the mods AV incorporates to their pristine state or can you just rerun AV given what you have after the last time you ran it. If that makes any sense...
  3. I get this if I forget to tick (activate) a required ESP/ESM such as SPIKE.esm when running GDO. Â Since ESMs hide in the top of your order they are easy to miss.
  4. Is "WIC Cloaks of Skyrim Patch 2_2" not needed?
  5. Aiyen - I assume it's due to the odd structure of AV folders or the order in which you did DDSopt and ran the AV proc. Maybe if you removed all the textures to a standard folder structure, then run DDSopt, then put them back and then run AV it might work better. Or it might not.
  6. What version should we use for "StarX AV Packages" ? The guide says "Version: 1.03 (All) " but the nexus site only has 1.00 or 1.02 while his link to the Bethsoft forums has other versions (but with incompatible dates). I am assuming we should use 1.00-1.02 that you link to on Nexus.
  7. Apparently the NACMIM .swf file gives an error with the SkyUI update. He says he will have a SkyUI 3.4 patch when he gets better, but for now he thinks just disabling the warning should allow things to work OK. He wrote: "It has to be updated each time, sadly.   8. FWIW with some of the new weapons textures I prefer the look of naked sword-blades rather than (some of Skyrim's goofy looking) sheathes, so having some attachment like a leather loop and an exposed sword-blade rather than sheath might be aesthetically more pleasing anyway.
  9. No idea but... In his Greatsword Sheaths and Scabards (https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5624), DoubleBrewski apparently faced a similar issue and used a piece of leather to hold Draugr greatswords to one's back.
  10. With the new show Racemenu Precache Killer out, are you thinking of adding mods such as Appachii or ther hair style (or warpaint, etc.) expansion mods back in? (Assuming of course that it works as advertised. Has anyone tried it out yet? Does it seem to do the job?) I know I stopped using it because it seemed to make things so unstable - as well as not being particularly interested in glamor hair styles that conflicted wth my view of the generalfor the Dark Age setting of Skyrim. Nevertheless, if it hadn't been so unstable I probably wouldn't have bothered removing it from my list of mods.

Why do you do it for these two nodes but not 0002E4E2 and 0002E4E6 which seem to have the identical issue of not carrying changes from USKP forward?

However isn't Himmelsrand for Skyrim in 000003C the same translation issue as Weisslauf for Whiterun which you correct above?
  14. When you finish your shield on back mod an interesting (and probably ridiculously complicated) extension would be to have shields (and maybe bows and quivers) carried by horse riders shown as being carried on the side of the horse.
  15. Did you use the standard or bright aMidian Scaled Armor? Any preference for one over the other?
  16. What exactly does ASIS do? I tried it a while ago but just sort of gave up on it.
  17. Interesting. I always find it tedious to go to magic menu to figure out what effects are applicable. I rarely use iHUD because while the concept is interesting I find myself getting lost or losing the plot without without the compass, etc. maybe I just need to bite the bullet and try playing without relying on it.

  19. It looks like the Hotfix to iHUD does not play nice with SkyUI 3.3. SkyUI 3.3 does not seem to work when the Hotfix is activated.

Version: 1.2.3 Special Installation: If using Skyrim Realistic Overhaul, only install the following files: ..." 1.2.3 is only available as an update from 1.2.2. Should we install 1.2.2 first? Why don't you use 2.0 (and its update)?

  22. Should we use the Hot fix to iHUD? Or has this issue with SkyUI MCM been corrected? Or is this not necessary with the new SkyUI 3.3 (assuming we use that)? Also, it appears that NACMIM's colors do not work on the map with the new SkyUI 3.3. Never mind about NACMIM - changing the load order seemed to fix it. I assume the patch is not needed with 3.3 as they rolled back the menu change (maybe).

Also - do you use: Update to Dawnguard plugin ...Removes a bugged edit to DA03 caused by the Dawnguard ESM? It's new but seems sensible.

From looking at their time stamps it seems like they updated when I used TES5Edit. Also, I never need to uncheck the Backup Plugins anymore, it seems like this default is set to not checked now.
  25. Are you still using SkyUI 3.1 or have you changed to 3.2?
