  1. I used to these mods myself when I was just experimenting with stuff and loved the look and performance wasn't a big issue then because I wasn't running 5% of the mods I have now. I did read about the missing orphan and the issues with Immersive Citizens issue. It doesn't seem the mod authors are getting along at the moment regarding this and ICAIO. I'm going to install it and see what happens. The Immersive Citizens issue is sort of interesting because its a claim made by ICAIO author. I will see if any guards are subjected to Philadelphia Experiment and fused into walls.
  2. I just updated my SRLE installation. More like overhauled it. I have been playing on a SRLE installation from early last year. A LOT has changed. All good stuff though. I was thinking about adding JK's enhanced city and town mods to the mix. Here is a list of those https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/1305814/?tb=mods&pUp=1 I like the look of these. Is there any particular reason NOT to use them? They aren't included in the STEP or SRLE guides but they seem great. Is there any reason these mods were passed by? I realize they can be a major performance hit but, Nazenn has created Lite and Superlite versions for better performance. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71018/? Thanks.
  3. I had no issues using DynDOLOD and getting it all set up. I am getting a "Requires SKSE 1.7.3 or newer" error. I have SKSE 1.9.xx installed. Does anyone know what might be happening or where I'm going wrong?

  5. I didn't even look at the changelog. That was added December 4th. That would have made my life a little easier. Is it safe to rework this section using this new legacy script method?
  6. Beautiful I got it. Thanks so much. I was getting an issue installing PN-EO in MO. It was saying the Cyberware was missing and it wan't loading the Combat Rebalance plugin. I used FOMM then made the mod in MO from Overwrite. Ran Loot, Rebuilt Bashed Patch and voila. This was all with the Darn moved down after OneHud per you original post. Can't thank you enough.
  7. Its my batched patch. When I moved the DarnUI after OneHUD I reran Loot and Wrye. Its missing PN Combat Rebalance Complete. I think I can track that down but I just want to be sure of this order for DarnUI. Is my screenshot correct or does DarnUi come after OneHud? The load order is top to bottom correct? So i want Darn to load then OneHud? I also see a DarnifiedUINV plugin in the Plugins pane. Does that factor into this at all? I really appreciate all your help. I didn't have such a difficult time with Skyrim. New Vegas is really picky about some of this stuff.

  11. Thank you for the reply. There was a conflict with MCM. So I moved it after MCM but before OneHUD and the conflict in MO is gone but the issue remains. It could be the PN Manual Darnified UI files you mentioned but, I cannot seem to locate these instructions in the tutorial.
  12. After following this tutorial, everything fired right up great but when I press start I get that DarnifiedUI is in Hud but not in Start Menu. Anyone now what that is? I probably would care if I could suppress that message box at the very least.
  13. For an example Vault 22 Floral Overhaul found here https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54472/? Has an ESP and a BSA. It seems the ESP exists only to call the BSA, is that correct? If I am using MO and I have installed this mod and extracted the BSA do I still need the ESP? This question extends to any other similar mods. I realize the ESP in certain situations is needed for load order. I'm just curious how would I know if the ESP is actually needed. Thank you all in advance. Thomas
  14. I got it up and going and all is working fine. Thanks again for all of you that helped. I have to admit I am not very impressed by the Vividian ENB. It is beautiful, but in the past, I used Realvision which I love and I think I would at least like to see it with this setup. Is it difficult to change this to Realvision? I know I can add Realvision to the ENB Manager. I'm just curious how it impacts some of the Vividian related steps in the guide.
  15. Thanks a bunch guys. I have been checking as I go. It is habit after installing step through its many incarnations. I have only now decided to up to this more complex guide. The Wearable Lanterns I did install, earlier in the process than what is listed, but will move it to its place when I get to it. I am just trying to stay on the guide as much as I can without having to go back and do the cleaning, merging, etc. Maybe the best approach is to do all of the installs then go back for all of the merging, user list, etc. stuff. I appreciate all of the help. I will press on and finish the guide before I spaz out on something not working again. Was there ever a resolution to the Dagi-Raht by Nuska being down? I just skipped it, but I sent Nuska a message asking if it was possible to get those files. I haven't got a response and Nexus shows the message has not been read yet. I did not do this: EDIT: Thinking about this a little more, when you finished the merge did you follow these instructions: "Click the [X] in the upper right hand corner, verify "Backup plugins" is unchecked, select only the merge output file then click [OK]." ?? I left all of them checked. This fixed it. I really appreciate it. I do have one more issue now that is causing the game to not load. The game makes it to the Skyrim emblem for a second then crashes. I have tracked it down to Realistic Bobbing Boats of all possibilities. When I disable this plugin the game works great. When enabled, CTD on loading screen. I have re installed just to make sure I followed the directions. I double checked the BUM rule to be sure I placed it before RealisticWaterTwo.esp. Not sure what else it could be. Has anyone else experienced an issue with this plugin?

After I merge the Vividian Enb files: Vividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.espVividian - Weather Patch CoT.espVividian - Extended Weathers.espVividian - Extended Weathers - CoT.espVividian - Torches Preset.espVividian - Wearable Lanterns Preset.esp The TES5Edit seems to only change: Vividian - Extended Weathers.espVividian - Extended Weathers - CoT.esp These are the only files listed along with the new Merged File in the Saved Changed Files window after merging and hitting red x in TES5Edit. And after moving the source files in MO from Available Mods to Optional Mods I still have: Vividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.espVividian - Weather Patch CoT.espVividian - Extended Weathers.esp listed in BUM and red in color as having no sort object specified. BOSS reports no unrecognized plugins, though. Is this correct? I expected no red colored plugins listed in BUM at all after following these directions.

  19. I just did a STEP 2.2.9. Everything fired up fine. I played through the intro all using my 360 wireless controller. When I load any saves from this new game, I have no controller input or mouse or keyboard EXCEPT any buttons that open the menu work and navigation inside the menu works. I have restarted the game to see if I can duplicate the error and in fact it does. Input functions as it should until quitting and starting the game again. Something is corrupting something but I have no idea what or how to figure it out. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thomas
  20. I did a fresh installation of Skyrim and Step and I feel I am getting severe under-performance compared to previous step versions. The last version I used was right before the announcement that you were changing your structure to the packs and stuff. I followed the guide from top the bottom but I am at a loss as to why i am barely averaging like 35 FPS and that is at 1280 x 720!!! My specs are: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX/ AMD-FX-8350 @ 4.9 GHz/ Corsair H80i/ 8GB DD3-1600 G.Skill Ripjaws/ Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti/ 240 GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD HDD/ 2x WD Black 1TB RAID1/ Fractal 800 W PSU I have attached a screenshot of the Skyrim Performance Monitor. This readout is from the opening carriage ride sequence. SPM did not measure FPS for whatever reasons so I had to use FRAPS to get a FPS reading. Skyrim is installed on the SSD in ACHI.
  21. Thank you. This is actually going to be my third install of Skyrim. My second and third installs I used STEP and I did do some cleaning with TES5Edit on the last install. The level of difficulty isn't really my concern as much as what is going to look the best and give the best experience. I really just appreciate your guy's suggestions and time in aggregating these mods into a single guide. Maybe I will try SR just to give it a go.
  22. I am pretty confused on what is going on with STEP. Up until recently it has been pretty straight forward and awesome but, the latest announcement is confusing. Do I follow the STEP guide or do The Skyrim Revisited guide? It seems that a once simple to follow tutorial has now crossed over into something else with all of these possible branches.Â
