  1. I'm following the No Grass LOD Check List and I'm using vanilla grass but I have other grass mods. I have precached all the grass I need. Any extra errors don't seem relatable, and I've asked Mod Authors specifically to mod specific queries. Here's the logs + extras for mroe details: https://easyupload.io/i7lx0z How do I fix these from the checklist: 1. I don't have any grass LOD billboards in TexGen Output. 2. My debug log doesn't contain <Notice: [Worldspace] Gathering grass data for object LOD> . 3. DynDOLOD_tamriel.dds doesn't contain any grass from TexGen (as I couldn't find anything in texgen). 4. LODGen_SSE_Export_Tamriel.txt doesn't contain GrassMap=. 5. I don't appear to have any LODGen_SSE_Grass_Map_[Worldspace].txt files. 6. I have a bunch of files in \Objects\[Worldspace].4.x.y.bto and I ran execute LODgen, checked the LODGen_SSE_Tamriel_log.txt and couldn't find any reference to grass. 7. I also have a warning saying FBlockLevel0Distance set to 60000. Should I be worried or concerned about this? All of this is related to my post here:

What's the most performance-friendly settings I should use to see the grass from this far away? https://i.imgur.com/HSxo8k2.png And also DynDOLOD settings to load the circled section: https://i.imgur.com/Rc1l09P.png This is to avoid some blank canvas looking areas. But I don't wanna overload the settings so that my performance gets killed. I want the settings to JUST clutch the tip of the loaded selection. And if you have any other extra suggestions for ini settings (including skyrimcustom.ini) please share!

  4. Where do I change those ini settings which ini? Also, in terms of game performance, which one is more liekly to cause lag spikes: Occlusion Datas quality 3 or quality 1? I'm just not sure what the difference is. Also, do neargridtoload & fargridtoload affect performance if those numbers are changed? Or does that just mean objects farther away like grass not showing on landscapes would be loaded? I was having that problem, and I precached the grass but it was still an issue. Any hints or resolves for showing grass in all countryside? Is there a picture example of the prefer base record LOD assignments over rules? I just wanna see what I'd be losing for minimal performance gain.

Should I notify mod authors of these errors? If not, how can I fix these myself?

  11. What would this change in the game and why would we need to download this DLL as opposed to the normal DynDOLOD files?
  12. What do you personally do with water seams? Seeing as DynDOLOD doesn't cover them.

  16. Thanks man! What do you suggest I have my fSkyCellRefFadeDistance set to? Also, Is there a predetermined most performance friendly to non pop in ratio'd ini file I can try tune? Or like list of settings? I've tried hunting but can't find any. I can now see NPCs farther away thanks to you! However, I don't seem to have resolved those crevaces as seen here:

  19. I got this: https://easyupload.io/ycvmqm I tried restarting my PC and that resolved it. Maybe looking into that? Also, it was another Arnima one (Beyond Reach) which caused it. Do you think running through CAO might help?

[Content] Check for error messages in the listed LODGen log(s) I pressed okay and it came up with: [Window Title] DynDOLOD [Main Instruction] Save DynDOLOD plugins, save plugins and zip output, exit DynDOLOD without saving, check the log? [Content] If 'Check log' is selected, the DynDOLOD plugins will be saved when DynDOLOD is closed. https://easyupload.io/n7tf3q I saved and exited. Would there be any issues in my game?

  24. thank you! I have now gone and added the files and folders to my Windows Defender exceptions list. And as I said I don't have any other antivirus or anything. And my UAC settings are set to never notify if that's the right way to do it. No sorry BDS stands for better dynamic snow. And I actually didn't even know slash realize that the first two letters/numbers in X edit will literally the load order ID's. Thank you for telling me that! Because I didn't know that before. Texgen ran very smoothly and after running arnimavoid ALONE it happily lets me save and exit. I will have to try to run the full dynDOLOD tomorrow. Incl other world spaces. Any other trobuleshooting tips?

I tried re running texgen today and this error came up: Can not copy resource textures\landscape\snow01.dds to D:\Mods\Mod packs\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\DynDOLOD-temp\textures\landscape\snow01.dds: [Content] The system cannot find the path specified. I only changed 1 thing in the DynDOLOD folder and that was to run it with this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/56367/ (I changed Level32=1). I also ran it tiwce and do have BDS. Here's my modlist: https://modwat.ch/u/mattski123 Unfortunately I can't currently check whether or not it is a repeatable error. I do also have my UAC settings on never notify and I only have Windows Defender has my AV. How do I find the reference in xEdit? I tried by searching every form ID which was listed in the debug log but that didn't really help me. I managed to find it in the end and there's nothing overwriting it.
