  1. For those of you using SRLE+REGS+Perma, are you using any combat or enemy scaling mods? I was thinking of using Skyre's AI/Zones/Scaling and Combat Evolved, but as I've not yet tried Perma, I don't really know what would play well with it.
  2. It's occurred to me I probably should have posted in here, rather than creating a separate topic. I have SRLE installed and running totally fine. I'm trying to install REGS over the top of it, but having some issues. One issue is the same issue as people are reporting above. BOSS, even with the REGS userlist, just doesn't recognise a huge swath of plugins. My other issue is the sheer amount of .esps this adds. My SRLE has 160 .esps, but by the time I've added maybe 20 mods from REGS, I've seen a +60 plugin jump. I assume many of these plugins are meant to be merged, and whilst I know how to merge plugins, I have no idea what plugins I should be merging. The guide itself has no information on this, can anyone help?
  3. I made it through SRLE fairly smoothly, and have moved on to adding REGS on top of it. I'm only about 1/3rd of the way down the list and already I can see this might be a problem. Firstly, the included REGS BOSS userlist file doesn't pick up on most of the .esps added so far (Already have 22 unrecognised plugins). Secondly, the amount of added .esps is huge, 15+ between ETAC and Farmhouse Chimneys alone, and the REGS guide says nothing about merging these .esps, a thing i'm hesitant to do without knowing what is safe to merge. I would assume that I could merge all the ETAC patches and fixes together, and the same could apply for the Farmhouse Chimneys .esps, although i'm not sure at all about this. If I had merged plugins I could probably manually adjust my load order, which would solve the BOSS problem. Edit. Posted into the REGS thread instead. Probably should have done that instead.
  4. So i've been slowly building up my list of mods for a new Skyrim list for my new PC, and then I found STEP, and then SR: LE. I'm pretty comfortable with MO, FNVEdit, LOOT and the like (Getting New Vegas to run with 200+ mods is a pretty good trial-by-fire for that), but I have a couple questions about SR: LE; I understand why Skyrim HD 2k textures would be left out of Core, but I sorta expected them to make an appearance in SR. Any reason I shouldn't add them anyway? Seems the best way to do that would just be to install them right at the start and let all the more custom texture packs overwrite them. I've read through the list of mods for both Core and SR, and noted that some pretty good mods are omitted from SR (TreesHD, Terrain Bump, Amidian's Farmhouse). My first thought was maybe SR was intended to be installed on top of Core, but i'm not so sure because there are plenty of mods that are used by both. Is SR meant to be a complete mod-pack, or a large base? On top of these mods are a few things I deem fairly essential, such as Hunterborn, COT's Supreme Storms, and maybe SkyTEST. I should be able to add these on right?
  5. Update Edit. The crash log from MO mentions the mod Immersive Creatures as the last line before the crash report. I disabled this mod, rebuilt my bashedpatch and the game now appears to work. I can't for the life of me figure out why IC is crashing the game however, so if you're feeling up to helping me find out it would be appreciate it. Original post is below. I've been playing my current mod loadout for ~15 hours + with occasional CTDs that I just attributed to Skyrim being Skyrim. Then in my playthrough I got to Avanchnzel. Trying to enter the ruins causes the game to go to a load screen as normal, but then a CTD. After some fiddling around, I tried loading that save with only the base game files + unofficial patches. It loaded fine, and I could freely walk into and out of the ruins with no problems. I created a save inside the ruins, reactivated all my mods, and loaded into game fine. I could then walk into and out of the ruins fine too. Problem with that is I lose all my items that are mod related. I assume that this indicates that one or more of my modded items are causing the crash, but I can drop them all outside of the ruins and entering still causes the crash. So far it's only been Avanchnzel that has caused this, but I haven't checked every single dungeon in the game. Edit. I've tried entering some other Dwarven ruins, ones that use the same map icon as Avanchnzel. The same crash occurs. I then started a new game so that I have none of the modded items on me and tried to enter the same ruins. Same crash. This is the last thing reported in the MO crash log. I'm hoping that this issue may be as simple as understanding what this means. e w: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\dungeons\dwemer\clutter\dwecenturionbust01.nif -> D:\Mod Organizer\mods\Unofficial Skyrim Patch\MESHES\dungeons\dwemer\clutter\dwecenturionbust01.nif (80000000 - 3) = 0000097C (0) DEBUG (02:10:27.0698): createfile w: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\Actors\character\character assets\beard\dwarven\dwarvenbeardparts.tri -> D:\Mod Organizer\mods\Skyrim Immersive Creatures\MESHES\Actors\character\character assets\beard\dwarven\dwarvenbeardparts.tri (80000000 - 3) = 0000097C (0) INFO (02:10:27.0862): Windows Exception (c0000005). exception did not originate from Mod Organizer. Since then I have completely wiped NMM, all my mods and done a completely fresh install of Skyrim and redownloaded all my mods within MO. Outside of Avanchnzel these areas the game appears to function perfectly fine. This is my load-order pulled from BOSS:
