  1. What exactly is the CR? Basically a huge patch or something that has everything in the SRLE guide work together?
  2. ... alright. One key question. I'm only a novice at modding Skyrim still, but am learning. Would it be wiser to follow the guild to the letter first and only THEN add extracurricular stuff like Wyrmstooth and other alternate things I like? Probably be a better experience in general, right? Then after I enjoy the guide as is, sine it's all interwoven together to stop conflicts, and add extra stuff later...?
  3. Perhaps, but all the other 'metadata' notes put it on the first mod that you change even if the mod it's talking about doesn't exist yet. It's put in a weird place in the guide is all.
  4. Is this backward, again with You Hunger? Loot Metadata Update Required: EnhancedLightsandFX.esp - Load After You Hunger.esp Seems like it should be the other way around?
  5. Is the CR subguide necessary? I cracked it open and it was very long, complex, and repetitive... Or can we just slap in the CR .esp and call it a day?
  6. And why are we using an old version of You Hunger instead of the up-to-date one, 2.1.4? Just curious.
  7. Alright, so don't worry about the Falskaar or Moon and Star patches for You Hunger, right? The CR snags them?
  8. For "You Hunger", the guide says to use the 'legendary' edition under the 'old version' - is the Falskaar version in the CR? Because... I am using Wyrmstooth too and is wondering if I should go with 'complete' (legendary + Falskaar + Wyrmstooth) or just get legendary and the wyrmstooth patch. Moon and Star has a patch too - is that in the CR too?

  10. Another question - under 'Audio Overhaul for Skyrim 2', on the last page of the FOMOD, most of the mods there are mods that are in the SRLE guide. Why does said guide say to leave them all blank?
  11. Question of opinion - Lucidity Sound FX says you can safely drop the .esp if you don't care about individual volume controls for various sounds. Do a lot of people do this? Or is the options to tweak those sounds worth a precious slot in one's load order?

  13. For Northgirl Armor, the instructions say that, unlike most optionals, to merge them together using MO. What about the additional file from off Nexus? Does that one get merged in too or keep it separate - the one to use slot 55? Also, Bandoliers use slot 55 so the off-Nexus file might conflict, no?
  14. Interesting NPCs put out a hotfix "Interesting NPCs 3.4.1 Hotfix Only Must Download 3.4 first" on their page to fix a few issues related to the latest update. Just a heads-up.
  15. If I'm using other mods than what's in the straight SRLE, should I download the "LOTD Patches Merged (v19.1.6)" file anyway? I mean, I can also get the other mods from the patch central like Hunterborn - or should I just do my own merge if I'm adding a few things?
  16. ELFX just updated to 3.04 - I did my routine 'check for updates in MO' thing and itw as flagged - also, DynDOLOD updated again to 2.35.
  17. Also, the scripts from TRIW and TME - I have downloaded them into xEdit, but haven't ran them yet. Is there any harm in them staying there, or should I look for and delete them? (And why is it that on this forum, you only get a very short time to edit, then your posts are locked down?)
  18. I see that Bethini was updated. Is it necessary to do it? I had a hassle with it for it didn't want to work when I didn't play at the recommended setting. I don't like playing fullscreen or at the maximum resolution for other reasons - there's a chat program I like to see the edge of...
  19. So if you unpack the BSA for Immersive Armors you don't need "Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp" ... but there's another .esp in there. I'm supposed to leave Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp alone, right?
  20. Would left-hand-ring mods work for this guide? Specifically Left Hand Rings Modified - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58491/? - along with Left Hand Enchanted Rings - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52911/? I've found this very useful in the past - it makes sense that you can wear one magic ring on each hand like in most games. Would these two mods break anything? And maybe be considered for the main SRLE Guide?
  21. Is there any left-hand ring stuff in the SRLE? I always enjoyed using those mods and I haven't seen anything here. Would using "Left Hand Rings Modified" break anything?

  23. ... so why is everyone discussing increasing tolls for using public transportation? Is something wrong with the normal prices?
  24. I figured out my Inspector thing - instead of manually typing in 59.7, select it from the dropdown menu. (I was using the latest version too.) Thanks, Lexy. (And thank you for taking the time to answer not just my questions, but EVERYONE's queries. It's really neat to know I can count on you guys for problems.
  25. On the NVidia Profile Inspector, when I try setting the frame rate to 59.7, when I hit apply changes the number disappears and the word 'off' appears- is this normal?
