SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Jabrute replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
There are a few parts of the guide that are a bit confusing. Would it help for people to point out areas that may need a little more explanation? Another thing I am wondering is why it is so important to not install the doc folders? It seems like there must be some important reason but I can't figure it out? -

I have problems even with heavy. I'm thinking of pulling it out of mine. They blow as if there was a constant 50mph wind. The flame should be blown out at this point. lol -

Was it here or elsewhere I read that the fall update for windows 10 that is supposedly fixing the 4gb texture thing will possibly break mod organizer? I just read a post from a guy that is part of the windows insider program, and he claims that he has the update and is running fully modded Skyrim through mod organizer and having no problems. I was wondering if he is telling a tall tale? I am hoping that the LOTD guide will be updated by the time the windows update hits so I can start a new playthrough without having to install windows 7. -

Well, this isn't really the place for this, but you guys have been WAY more helpful than anyone else I have talked to. I have been running DynDOLOD and getting this error no matter what I do Exception in unit userscript line 322: Assertion failure (C:\Delphi\projects\DynDOLOD\wbImplementation.pas, line 12260 First, I'm thinking, why the heck is Dyndolod trying to access a file on my drive C anyway(all my games and Skyrim mod stuff are on my D drive) It sounds like a bug in Dyndolod, I've got no response after several days on the Dyndolod website and I've looked through google. I though one of you genius might recognize this.(I use the term genius in a totally complementary way. lol) Thanks again -

Sorry for more questions. Under FNIS, the guides says Mod Organizer has automatically placed the generated files into the <Mod Organizer Path>/overwrite folder for inclusion in the game. No further action is required. But I have this "Generate FNIS for users" thing it created. Do I run that or not?? Also, under mod merges It says to put tags DELEV INVENT NAMES RELEV on the CACO merge, but at the end of the guide with Wyre Bash, It says use tags DELEV, RELEV Which is right? Or am I confusing something Thanks again DELEV, RELEV -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD 2.27
Jabrute replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Ok, I have an odd situation, and I am looking for a hopefully easy fix. I installed "Skysight -Simply bigger trees", then I have "Skyrim bigger trees" directly below it. This makes for some massive, very realistic trees, and I use the LOD from Skysight and it matches well visually, except the LOD tree sizes are to small. I tried to read through everything to see what to do to fix it, but I am over 50 now and my brain just cant absorb all of this stuff as easy as it used to. Anyway, i was wandering if the ini files for the lod can be adjusted manually to do this? Maybe the scale size or the height/width? I could experiment, but I'd rather not spend hours tinkering with it if someone could kindly give me the easy answer to this. Thanks much! Oh, that's fine. I was just curious. There is plenty of content packed into what you have put together already! -

I was hoping Dev Aveza would be in this pack. I have never played it but I'd like to try it out. Was there any particular reason it was not added in? I was curious about Wyrmstooth also. I know they were both mods with integrated support for LOTD. Thanks -

I considered running windows 7, but I heard that they finally fixed the windows 10 4gb Vram issue. The fix is scheduled to be in the fall windows 10 update. Thanks for the feedback though. Something else that will make your game look amazing, if your machine can handle it, is to install "simply better trees" and then install "skyrim bigger trees" on top of it. Nice big realistic trees. -

Thanks much to both of you for the help. I used to use REGS, so I am familiar with it. I'll go check it out. I'll also try using Dawn of Skyrim with JK's Lite. I should have room for a few more ESP since i dropped out the bathing in Skyrim and a couple other things. Lastly, I am so impressed with the scope of this pack of mods. It took me a few days to get set up and I still am working on it. I can't imagine how much work it took to get all of those mods to work together. You guys are awesome! -

Thanks for the quick response! I am sad to loose JK's, but I read about the navmesh problems. I did find a mod called "Immersive Citizens Extended - Whiterun" that tones Jk's Whiterun way down and makes it compatible with IC. I am going to look for some other city upgrade mods that don't mess with IC. I hope the guy makes one compatible with Solitude, but that would be a lot of deletions I'm afraid. -

I was curious if there was a reason that I couldn't use the JK's major cities overhauls and the towns not touched by the guides? Can anyone see why there might be a conflict? I know I used them with LOTD in the past, but not with this STEP pack. Thanks! -

Can someone tell me why so many of the "core" LOTD mods are not in this pack? Maybe I missed a comment somewhere that addresses this. Maybe they just arent compatible or patched for Requiem? I was hoping to have the full LOTD experience along with Requiem. Thanks -

Maybe I missed it, but is Dev Aveza and possibly other core mods not included for LOTD? ALSO, I am SO glad you made this. I had actually completed a pack that was near identical to this on my own but without all of the nice patches and merges and such. I'm definitely starting over and using this!
