Soo, does this mean I could just start a clean install of SR:LE plus this and play with it until there is a fix for it? Or is it better to wait for the fix first, before starting a playthrough of this? I don't mind a few minor bugs here and there, as long as it's not too distracting. As long as it is easy to fix while already having a save game (instead of needing to start over once it's fixed). Also, it would take me a day or two to get a full clean install of SR:LE in the first plays anyway (including testing etc).

Below, a few issues I have encountered by trying to install Requiem and its patches after a clean install of SR:LE. Closefaced Helmets, missing master: Okay so I followed the instructions from the Pack. However, one of the patches for Improved Closefaced Helmets includes an esp file which has Improved Closefaced Helmets_Legendary.esp as master. Since I am following the SR:LE guide, this master is missing, yet I have Improved Closeface Helmets installed. I believe the esp file used for that is included in Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade and called imp_helm_legend.esp instead. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Merging: Furthermore, after I dragged all the patches in the order specified by Azirok and try to merge them it fails to copy some of the records and when it is finished merging I get the following error message: "Some records failed to copy, so your merged file is incomplete. Please refer to the message log so you can address these records manually. (The merged file likely will not work without these records!)" Load Order: Furthermore, I have a small question about the load order. According to SR:LE, the Frostfall, SIC and WAF patches for CCOR are sorted at the BOTTOM of Compatibility Patches, which is very low in my load order. According to the Requiem Pack, all the files and patches need to be sorted after any mods that they are patching for Requiem. I put my Requiem.esp right after Better Vampires.esp, which leads to the following load order (see below). I was wondering if this is going to give any problems due to those CCO_*_patch.esp's. I just finished with a clean install of SR:LE. I would like to use Requiem on top of that but I'm not sure what the best solution would be here since my knowledge of solving esp conflicts is at the bare minimum.
-
So I am assuming that it is better to just use the instructions from the Requiem Pack, using Requiem 1.7.3, and then upgrade to Requiem 1.8.2 once the compatibility project by ogerboss is finished?
-
I just finished a complete fresh install of SR:LE, and I would like to use Requiem. So what would be the best way to do this now? Follow the stuff that is in the pack (which is apparently for Requiem 1.7.3), or use the later version?

This time I re-installed using the 360 breasts option and I still have the same issue when strafing to the right. However, this introduced a similar bug when walking backwards with S. The camera is then pointed towards my character (which is a woman by the way) as normal, while she walks towards the camera (as expected). But the camera flips around in intervals for brief moments, similar to the problem when walking to the right. But this time it's only in intervals and not a constant thing. I also have installed the animations section (I installed up to the sound section of the guide), ran FNIS and all the other skyproc patchers. Initially I thought the problem was caused by a combination of one of the animation mods and UNPB. However, disabling everything from UNPB and on-wards does not get rid of the problem. Whereas enabling everything I have installed so far, but disabling UNPB, does get rid of the problem. So the problem certainly lies with UNPB. And it is most likely related to some of the animations of that mod since the meshes or textures aren't really able to cause something like this I imagine. I can also try to pick the regular breast motion by XP32, to see if that changes anything. Update 1: Picking XP32's regular breast motion instead of DarkAngel1265's natural breast motions seems to have fixed the problem. However, as far as I can remember I have never had this problem in the past, even though I used DarkAngel1265's motion instead. However, back then I was using a male character so maybe the problem does not occur when you are playing a male character. I will be playing a male character for this playthrough as well though, I just happen to be using a save game with female character for testing. -

Ah thanks I'm gonna try that later. For now I have this weird bug: Whenever I walk around in 3rd person and press D to strafe to the right, the camera turns upside-down and I will look towards the back of my character (whatever is behind me). As if the camera is rotating 180 degrees forward. Has anyone experienced this before and does anyone know what the problem is here? So far I've only modded until the "Basic Needs and Survival" section of the guide, following everything to the letter. Update 1: I have done some backtracking, enabling and disabling mods to find the source of the problem. And it seems to be occurring when I enable the UNP Blessed Body Redux Project mod, which is weird because it contains nothing more than meshes and texture (?). Update 2: I may have accidentally selected 360 Directions instead of Default Direction. Re-installing now to see if this will fix the problem. Update 3: Re-installed, using the nude selections this time. Problem still occurs. I tried to re-run FNIS, the problem is still occurring. I am out of ideas to try now. The problem is definitely caused by the UNP Blessed Body Redux Project mod, since disabling this mod will fix the problem. However, after several clean installations of this mod, including a re-run of FNIS, does not seem to have fixed the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated! -

What can you do when you already created the SR Conflicting.eps but decided to delete some of the mods later? The SR Conflicting.eps will have some missing masters. Do I need to recreate the WHOLE conflicting eps or can I just change it up somehow such that the change related to the deleted mod is undone? -

In the installation section of RS Children Overhaul it tells you to install the Books of Skyrim patch as well, which comes with the RSChildren_PatchBooksofSkyrim.esp. This file is not recognized by BOSS and the guide has not have any BUM rules listed. So what BUM rule should I set for this file? (It may have to be added to the guide as well). Nevermind about the above, I just noticed the merging. Furthermore some random observations: Telvanni Reborn mod has been taken down from the nexus site (not sure whether or not it will come back). Serious HD Retexture Skyrim is at version 3.0beta, whereas the guide is still at version 2.0 (not sure if this is on purpose). -

At the ENB Series Graphics Modification section, the guide isn't very clear on which version you need to use. There's the Injector and Wrapper version. Even though it may seem like basic knowledge, I think it wouldn't hurt to add in the guide which one to use, in case people forget or are unaware of this. -

When it comes to setting up DDSopt, the settings show two different constraint configurations, now which one do I take? The normal one or the alternate settings? All it says is "The Alternate Constraints tab settings are used when the user wants all the textures to use DirectX compression; this is not typically the case.", which doesn't really give a lot of information on which settings to choose. -
Oh don't get me wrong, I have learned to work with tools such as BUM. Neovalen has put up some really good instructions on how to work with these tools. So I can't say that's the problem. The problem lays partly with myself as well though, I'm a perfectionist and I probably score pretty high on the OCD test as well. I always want things to be perfect (hence SR:LE is such a good guide for me, since it's just perfect), but I probably have to accept the fact that that is most likely impossible when it comes to Skyrim modding (especially when you're using large overhaul mods). Last time I had a go at it I saw that the most recent update of Requiem didn't have a patch for Dragonborn yet. And as I just read these comments here, I suspect that it's still the same. So partly, I am just waiting for things to come together before I have a go at it: Some mods aren't finished yet, SR:LE wasn't finished yet either, Smile44's Requiem Pack was still a work in progress as well.. Therefore, I decided to wait for a few months longer and try again later. Assuming that no mods are taking down, I can still mod Skyrim whenever I want at a later stage. Plus, I'm also interesting what is coming out of STEP 3.0. I was also thinking of using the following pack set-up instead, but I wasn't sure yet:- SR:LE- REGS- Modular Morrowloot Overhaul

Is there anyone who has a neat guide, tips and/or tricks to put this stuff all together? I really liked the details that the SR:LE guide has given me. REGS has a similarly detailed guide as well, which helps a lot (especially since it has notes for SR:LE compatibility). However, when it comes to installing Requiem I get really confused and uncomfortable! This is actually the reason why I never finished a fully modded version of Skyrim to my liking. The problem with Requiem is that I get really uncomfortable when it comes to installing these mods. The plugins aren't recognized by BOSS and there are so many patches that I need to install, that I get confused about which ones I actually need for my setup! I know there is a Requiem Pack by Smile44 - and no offense to you - but I find that it is lacking the details that I need, to be able to comfortably install the mods. I know that it is incomplete, but missing information such as plugin load order (such as custom BUM rules) really make me uncomfortable in installing the mods. Furthermore I get confused when it comes to batch patches and the conflicting patches, if that is entirely left up to myself then I feel really insecure about doing so.I'm still waiting for a fully detailed Requiem installation pack that covers all those details, because I am too afraid to do everything by my own guess. Last time I tried to install all this has been a while though so I may be a little bit inaccurate on this now. Edit: I just noticed after re-checking Smile44's Requiem pack, that he added some BUM rules. So I might have to try it again later but I'm pretty sure that I can find something along the way that will make me insecure about the final setup.

MO has found a "Potential Mod order problem", stated as follows: The conflict resolution order for some mods containing scripts differs from that of the corresponding esp. This may lead to subtle, hard to locate bugs. You should re-order the affected mods (left list!). There is no way to reliably know if each of these changes is absolutely necessary but its definitively safer. If someone suggested you ignore this message, please give them a proper slapping from me. Do not ignore this warning The following changes should prevent these kinds of errors: Move Provincial Courier Service after Enhanced Blood TexturesMove Alternate Start - Live Another Life after Provincial Courier Service -

Ah great, I also noticed that Mod Organizer updated to 1.2.5, which solves the download problem.
