  1. Looking at Darth' Load order on Modwatch, I can't see Dyndolod.esp. Are we supposed to deactivate it or merge it somewhere? Since its installation is placed after Wrye bashed in the Guide, I assumed that it should be left alone.
  2. Interesting NPCs also adds a hell lot of followers with interesting stories and soemtimes quests as well. Inigo is the only extra follower that I couldn't do without (I may be completely biased though).
  3. I would like to share a bug solution that I managed to find with TES5edit: The bald (not bold!) bug with the dragon priest mask, which is a common bug that occurs with improved closedfaced helmet. Solution: Moving "imp_helm_legend.esp" below "Undeath_imp_helm_legend_Patch.esp" Since sorting with LOOT can result in different load order depending on people, it might be necessary to add a Loot rule.
  4. Which mod(s) afffect the appearance of the console? In my last SRLE built I could get detailed info on everything I clicked at, however now that I, the console only gives me the form ID of objects, which is not very helpful. Not sure what I must tweak to get my old console back.
  5. Yes indeed, if I start on a clean profile with no mod at all and do the cart start in Helgen, my arms are still different. Depending on the angle of the camera, it is more or less obvious. In the screenshot my test subject is at max bulkiness. I's a funky bug. https://imgur.com/Hw5Nd7l
  6. The discrepancy between arms is present on a brand new character if you make him big with the sliders (just realized that). It becomes more obvious as he gets bigger. And most interestingly, I just tried a vanilla profile with alternate start only and the bug is there as well! So not a bug related to this guide or its mods at all.
  7. Should have been more clear. I think it is a male skeleton problem, rather than a pumping iron problem, it just becomes more obvious as you grow muscles.
  8. There is indeed 3 non conflicting files (and 168 conflicting, all from the merge, which makes sense), my dude is still bold. I can't figure this one out, I think I'm going to let it go. Thank you for your help!
  9. I'll post my first "bug". The muscle growth from Pumping iron is affecting the right and left side differently i.e. the right arm is getting bigger, the left isn't. At level 45, my hero looks like he needs a trip to the chiropractor. Not sure if my attempt at posting a screenshot is going to work... https://imgur.com/aFsL5Mg
  10. I agree that Caranthir tower is a very cool player home and the whole "quest" associated with the tower doesn't try to hold your hand, which is a very refreshing. If you are a mage, it is a nice and immersive option. The veteran skin (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81004/?) is very similar to Skysight (I also get the E)
  11. I must be misundestanding something in the instructions because I have redone it 3 times now, with no effect. Just to be clear: 1. I install the main mod (legendary), click manual, and unticking the esp 2. I copy the esp replacer (downloaded from dropbox) in the main mod folder 3. I install the ICH patches mod (as a separate mod from the main), following the fomod instructions and ticking the options Helgen reborn etc ... 4. I install the ICH patches mod again, this time, I click manual, right click on 50 Apophysis, set as data directory, click ok and merge. Now the apophysis data should be copied properly in the ICH patches mod folder. 5. I do the merge of the 3 ICH patches esp and create a new merge mod. 6. I deselect the ICH Patches mod and activate the ICH patches merged mod. 7. Making sure the mod order (left panel) and load order (right panel) and esp is correct. Otherwise I'm thinking of maybe creating a dummy merge esp and not doing the merge to see if this is where the problem come from.
  12. Thank you for the quick reply. Deactivating Apophysis did not fix the problem (Krosis just lost its textures). What is missing is actually not the textures, I think, but the meshes. When I clicked on one of the mask with console, it pointed to imp_helm_legend.esp so I went back to the guide and looked at improved closefaced helmets patches. There are instructions to patch apophysis manually with it (I assume to fix the above-mentioned mesh bug?). I doubled checked that all the correct files had been installed (the fixed esp and the meshes from the 50 apophysis folder) and ported into the ICH merge. All is good. Trying to start the game without any of the ICH mods and patches result in direct crash obviously because the CR needs imp_helm_legend.esp. So I can't check if it is a problem from improved closedfaced helmets. I might fiddle with the CR file for my next built using Paul's guide but it does look very intimidating!
  13. Hi everyone, a couple of comments regarding dragon priest robes and masks (just note that my build and mod versions dates from Jan 2017, pre-update by Nozzer). - The textures of the Konahriks robes (the ones collected on dragon priest and that need the Abjuration spells to be used) seems of very poor quality compared to many other clothes I have collected overtime (e.g. cultist robes, unarmored mage robes etc...). According to my MO, nothing overwrites the textures of these robes from Konahriks accountrements. The masks textures are overwritten by Apohysis, which brings me to my second point. - The majority of dragon priests masks from Apophysis don't show on your character (and they make you bold). The bug has been reported here before and on the mod page. The broken masks are: Hevnoraak, Morokei, Nahkriin, Otar, Rahgot, Vokun, Volsung The working masks are: Krosis, Konahrik. The wooden mask, clay mask and the Dragonborn dlc masks (Miraak etc...) are not affected by this mod (I think) and are working. If my two bugs are real (and not me messing up the install somehow), the mismatch in texture quality between these two mods (or absence of textures!) is a bit of a bummer! It would be interesting to know if these have been experienced by others. On a last note, having Caranthir tower and LOTD in the same build is a bit redondant when it comes to collecting items. They both have displays for a lot of unique items (like the masks) and Caranthir tower only accepts originals. One work around though is to display the originals in the Tower and make replicas (when craftable) for the Museum.
  14. The exact same thing happened to me in Riften at some point during my playthrough. I couldn't find the reason (no bounty). Reloading saves didn't change a thing. I simply yielded and served time in jail to "fix it". There is also the occasional bug of mages turning hostile for no reason at the College of Winterhold If a reload doesn't fix it, I just flee the college annd come back after a few days...
  15. I have been using SoS along with the skin texture Veteran skin (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81004/?) which is basically skysight skin made compatible for SoS.
  16. Don't know about Osex but amorous adventures has been working without any problems so far (currently lvl 45). edit: not very interesting roleplay-wise if you play with a female character though, in my humble opinion.
  17. I was looking at a video on Smart equip, which his previous and very similar mod. I would totally go for this, if it isn't too script heavy. I am already changing clothes semi-manually when travelling or entering city using the hotkeys of the SkyUI menus. I like to look humble and relax when I am shopping or going to the Tavern :p
  18. I had the same problem. Not all masks are affected, just some when you wear them or put them on a mannequin for display. The culprit seems to be Apophysis and the problem has been reported to the mod's forum on nexus, but the author is not active anymore.
  19. Thank you for the reply. I am afraid my modding skills are limited to following guides dutifully. I haven't tried to resolve conflicts beyond what was instructed in the SRLE guides. Anyway, I am on the verge of abandoning my 300 hours playthrough since the constant CTDs in the Museum have just become too much for my nerves. I think that these and the other major bugs that have appeared overtime are save corruptions. Even Inigo is showing signs of imminent death. I'll restore my Skyrim folder to vanilla state and I will start doing the SRLE LOTD 2.0. I did it once successfully, I can do it twice.
  20. I am level 41 and I have played Helgen Reborn as far as 4 side quests to train the recruits (which were quite challenging and long, I must say, I was pleasantly surprised). No noticeable CTDs with that mod, the only bug is a missing texture for the redguard lady recruit. I am ignoring it and pretending she's wearing an ugly purple s&m leather dress. The big recurring CTDs I have are when I use the crafting/enchanting/alchemy stations in the Museum safehouse, as the camera turns and the crafting menus open. Those are getting very frustrating. Some completely random CTDs in caranthir tower, while staring at a wall for example. Other problems that have appeared overtime (I play without enb or dyndolod, just enboost, with 2gb vram, running windows10): - the Horse menu doesn't work anymore (whatever hotkey I assigned to it). It's dead. I'm doing without it, sticking to Frost. - Inigo couldn't mount his horse anymore (looks like the animation was broken) so I told him to ditch it (might be related to the above problem or not) - My guy is getting bigger thanks to pumping iron, however the right side is developping while the left isn't so he looks like he has scoliosis - The necromancers (indeed not all mages) have an explosive spell (from apocalypse?) that can get your follower(s) and your character stuck in horizontal position without anyways to fix it. - The Gauldur quest was completely dead, couldn't be started at all (tried everything, console, finishing all 3 caves, adding the claw, the writ, the book to my inventory etc...). Not missing it really, as I have played it many times - Have the odd object or grass floating or people slightly levitating. It's a magical world, so why not... I think it is inevitable that glitches accumulate overtime, but I haven't noticed anything game breaking with Helgen Reborn. Edit: Oh and Sofia is just in her underwear all the time, I am ignoring her. The courier is always decently dressed. Edit2: Another naked one is the archeologist with the goggles (Madras?)
  21. I have the exact same bug. There is no fixing it as far as I know (I abused poor Inigo in this state with a number of actions and spell to unstuck him, without success). I have been reloading a save when this happens. It might be the fireball spell or the equivalent shock spell. I always dread fighting mages for this reason
  22. What are the other useful alternatives? I tried soul quick menu but it has been abandoned and ignored too many spells and items.
  23. May I suggest Equipment HUD if it hasn't already? It allows to cycle through weapons and spells and shouts using selected hotkeys rather than having to pause into the favorites menu. It is unintrusive and easily configurable, and it is already in the YASH and Reqtified guides. It is really life changing when you play a mage-ish character...
  24. Ok thanks, I will follow your advice with Resaver ;)
