Can't save edits to FONV INI files using MO

Question

Posted (edited)

I could do this yesterday but not today, and all I've done so far is install ESB for FONV.

I opened the FONV ini files in MO and added changes. Tried to save them and got this message:

"Error failed to write to D:/Steam/SteamApps__<rest of file location>___.

I searched my regedit and I do see  installed path REG_SZ D:SteamsteamaapscommonFallout New Vegas

PS I also notice a bunch of errors listed in Filter on the bottom of MO:

Request failed: Error downloading etc etc

Annoyingly, file uploads are disabled on this site, or I would upload a screenshot.

What the hell is up with this site re: image uploads? Is the idea to make it as difficult as possible to upload images? The featured upload function doesn't work (why is it even presented as an option then?), so I uploaded an image to my Flickr. But pasting in that link via the Image command only results in a hyperlink that users then have to click on? Am I missing something here?!?

This message is popping up all over the place in my MO filter column:

QAccessibleWidget::rect: This implementation does not support subelements! (ID __ unknown for QWidget)

Also, even though I am logged in, I cannot download anything from Nexus via MO. I get this:

Failed to request file info from nexus: error downloading (mod URL here) - server replied: Not found.

Note that I have signed in to Nexus and that it did accept my password. Automatically log-into NExus is checked in the MO Nexus tab. And Associate with Download with Manager links is highlighted.

GO to the little tool icon and then the workarounds tab. Put in 52.3 and see if you can download after that.

Also, I tried going to the image link by manually copy-pasting and it took me to the flickr homepage, so I think the links you're using are wrong.

@EssArrBee

I think with Flickr you have to first of all visit the page, probably to generate a cookie or something like that and then reloading loads the image. At least that is what happened with me.

Which meant i could see the images and they do look like the ones associated with that NMM version error. Although the error numbers weren't 101 or 202?

It could also be from general server faults either on Nexus's end or with the user's end.

Thanks. I added 52.3 but still get the QAccesibleWidget error-- This implementation does not support subelements! (ID 34 unknown for QWidget)
