By manmanchan. Can we have a global option to disable the "not endorsed yet" flag

Can we have a option to disable the "not endorsed yet" Icon? I have around 200 mod installed before I switch to Mod Organizer, do I really have to click them one by one? :/

The ´check all updates´ function in the left pane accessed by right click checks if there are new versionsof all installed mods AND it sets the endorsement status to the status as set in the Nexus. If you have 200 mods and you have not endorsed them on the Nexus then yes you have to diasble the ´not endorsed yet´ flag for every mod. This is by design. Some users wanted a global disable ´not endorse yet´ flag but out of respect for the mod authors Tannin has decided against it. As a comprise there now is a disable flag but you have to set it by hand.

Thank you for creating this thread, I've been trying to search for this problem and I can't find the answer form anyone, hopefully this thread is going to help others too.

 

The only problem I have with the endorsement icon is that it's in the "Flag" tab,that Icon make stuff very hard to read since it make the overwrites & overwritten icons uneven, and of i disable the flag tab I won't be able to see if there's any file overwrites or overwritten... :(

Can we have that icon in another new tab?

 

well....or I guess I'll look for a text editor and mess edit all "endorsed=" to 3 :/

If the intentions here is to make people care to endorse any mod, I would rather just have a "Endorse all" function... but ain't the point of endorsement are to show how many peoples are willing to go out of their way to tell everyone they personally endorse it? I don't really think harassing people with an icon in your UI would do any good...

I think you are over-thinking this. The unendorsed flag doesn't look that ugly. I have a number of unendorsed mods, and I don't mind. I have over 300 mods, and most of them I have endorsed.
