dem1an Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I would like to see a thread on getting Skyrim Revisited working with Requiem, much like Iroha's "[basic Guide] Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff" thread. Â Anyone like the Requiem enough to make some pointers based on experience? Â I'm having trouble with SUM with ASIS, Dual Sheath and AV, etc. Â SUM is hanging up on Automatic Perks: Mapping Spells and later on Dual Sheath and AV saying that "RequiemDB - SIC Patch.esp" doesn't have the "Requiem - Dragonborn.esp" master, but it does and does precede it in the load order. Â
Smile44 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 You will need to add Requiem - Dragonborn.esp to the blocklist this problem occurs with ASIS as well. You will need to remove some mods from SR such as Trade and Barter, Ars Metallica, SkyTEST, etc.. as Requiem already covers these. @DanielCoffey has managed to put together am SR build with Requiem - he mentions it on the "Mods that synergise well with Requiem" Topic but doesn't go into enough detail. Getting it to work is possible but it can develop problems down the line with script build up ion the save games, again depends on how many mods you have activating scripts. I would take AV out, Deadly Dragons out, as well as mods already mentioned. I tried to start a thread about this on the mod page (same section) no takers so far perhaps I should have put it on the main post page - I wondered if experienced Requiem users would be interested in creating or contributing to a Requiem based STEP pack. I still think this is worth doing. I'd like to help but it will need some more experienced conflict resolving experts to help get it working properly. :)

Will try that out. Nope.I created a new file: ==MOD BLOCKS==Requiem - Dragonborn.esp under \SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch/Files/BlockList.txt Had to clear out my overwrite directory.
Garfink Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I've played Requiem with S.R. I pretty much took what the Requiem Readme as gospel and deleted all the mods that double up on what Requiem edits (which is a lot of mods) and kept the graphics mod and mods like say... Convenient Horses, Amazing Follower Tweaks and Autosave Manager, which doesn't compete with Requiem and are somewhat synergistic. I also took all the mods that added new spawns to the world (like monster mod/SIC/Radiance) out and I've never used AV (apart from testing). Worked fine without any specialist homebrew patches. I got SUM running fine by messing with the blocklists. But I remember in my playthrough with it eventually, I didn't use SUM, as I only had ASIS that needed reproccing. Same thing with Skyrim Unleashed, just followed their webpage's recommendation and judiciously picked modes that don't conflict with its philosophy.
Smile44 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Yes it is safe to assume that it needs to be on the blocklist for all SkyProc patchers - author does not know why but there is no real issues with doing so and will have little effect. DSR patch only works for Requiem not the Dragonborn option so just block it and you should be good to go. :)I've played Requiem with S.R. More patches should be forth coming. But yes you need to be brutal with mod cutting. You managed to get AFT to work ok, I really like the options that mod provides but I've tended to stick with EFF as it is recommended in same list. :)
Garfink Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I like EFF too, but I like the AFT's make anyone your follower function a lot. (I've had no issues with EFF or AFT both) I stopped using SIC and Monster Mod in general, in my quest for "No-Tolerance for crashes", not saying these are the causes for crashes, but I've deactivated these mods early on to help eliminate causes for crashes. I will probably be reinstalling these for testing sometime soon, but since I have no more crashes for the moment, I intend not to mess with my install too much!
rootsrat Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Moved to appropriate forum. Mod Suggestion is for suggesting new mods to users.
Smile44 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 This is not a mod suggestion but more a guide (STEP Pack) suggestion. :)
rootsrat Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 That's why I moved it from MS to SR forum :)
Smile44 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Crikey my bad, I thought it was already in this forum - and wondered why it hadn't moved. All makes perfect sense now - I need more coffee. Probably while I go and catch up on Monday Night Football, taped so do not know the scores yet. :)
dem1an Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Do you guys use anything for AI and Requiem?
Smile44 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Well Requiem has it's own AI and it is pretty effective so probably not necessary to use another. :)
