Wyrmstooth - The great mod that i can't play

Question

Posted

Well as you may have guessed i have started this thread to talk about skyfalls + skymills in skyrim.....lol

But no seriously, i can't get my game to run with Wyrmstooth installed. It spams my Papyrus log, causes loads of CTD's and freezes, and obviously that makes my game unplayable. I get lots of "script cannot find ..... does not contain that property" errrors

I have tried with fresh starts, and half way through saves. I have Tried the game with wyrmstooth installed, and it causes LOTS of instability. Then if i remove it from my game, and try again, there are no problems. The game runs for hours without a freeze, or CTD. (And thats the same save, not even restarting from scratch)

I have gone through it in tes5edit (OMG that took ages!!) and found nothing,  only a couple of minor things that really dont need sorting.

Can someone out there, take a look at my mods/load order etc, and maybe tell me whats up?

I was going to show you my ini files too but i know it can't be those, i have already tried resetting them to vanilla, and it didn't work. I am currently using Ewis High ini and prefs. And they have given me no problems at all.

I am using ModOrganizer, and you can see the rest in my sig \/

I'm afraid that's all I can offer you, but I'll be following this thread because I'd like to see the solution. I have Wyrmstooth and it isn't causing any of those issues, but I haven't got any mods not in SR.

The scripts being there isn't the problem, it's that a script no longer contains a piece of code that the object used to have access to. I have no clue why this is, but it never affected me playing Wyrmstooth during two playthroughs. The latest version is supposed to remove a bit of Papyrus errors, I know all the instrument errors are gone from my logs, so check if you have it.

Im just having a bit of an overhaul of my installation anyway. gonna re-download the mod, and double tripple check everything is installed properly. And spend a LOT of time staring at tes5edit, SkyRe is a great mod, but a bugger for conflicts

Well I've just spent the past couple of days updating and tweaking my mod list. Reinstalled a few mods and checked lots for conflicts. Can't find anything in wyrmstooth. Thinking it might have just been an install glitch or something. Tomorrow I'm gonna crack on with some good game play and see what papyrus kicks out at me. Try n figure out what happened

I am a Skyrim Unleashed, Duel, Forgotten Magic, Apocalyse, Mighty Magick, Skyre (just perks & races, no need for reproccer as I am using the weapon values from Skyrim Unleashed, which only supports immersive armor & weapons), Classic Classes or Race Overhaul, Convenient Horses, Frostfall, Realistic Needs, Wet & Cold (but not the footprint mod), 3DNPC, Inconsequential NPCs, Weapon degrade, ASIS, Falskaar & Wyrmtooth user

Wyrmtooth (the new version) works fine now.  I had the same issue with the previous version of the mod.
