Solitude: The city of infinite loading (struggles with personal SR installation)

Question

Posted

It seems that, for me, I can never actually do many productive things while in the city in Solitude. It would be much better if it didn't have infinte loading screens all the freaking time. And since being a Legate requires you to visit Solitude often.... uggghghghhhhh.... Saving in a interior building doesn't seem to help... I am seriously at a loss.

As for what I'm doing, I'm testing out Neovalen's Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition guide (and also trying to play the game for my own enjoyment).. But seriously, Soluitude being so bad with ILSes, it makes me want to coc to needed places only. And before you ask, no, I did not use any z-fighting tweaks.

Here, on my Pastebin, are links to my Skyrim.ini, my Skyrimprefs.ini, my ModOrganizer mod order, and my load order. I am stumped... what can I do to fix this?

You know it probably has nothing to do with it but what are the speeds (rpm) of the HDD's you're using? I know Neo and I have SSD's and I never have ILS's.

Actually if I start getting them now in large amounts then the most likely reason would be because of the unofficial patch updates.

(After I reduce texture load ofc.). Tried to update them today...

Luckely I got backups of everything from here to january!

I have backup's for most things from March 2013 to now and from slightly before I registered on the forums here to October. Yeah... it's a but ton.

7200RPM... the wonderful thing about having huge amounts of RAM is that the application can then copy in everything into RAM and you do not have to wait for that slow HDD!

My initital load times are rather abysmal (2 mins sometimes!) as a result though, but once I get playing... almost instant!

Also messing with the new ENB memory values.

If I put in 2048 then the game starts, and everything but there is a bit of input lag at the 20-30FPS range.

If I alter it to 8192 then most of that is gone but the FPS is the same.

From what I have been reading then the values are entirely setup dependent... but the gist of it should be that you should never set the value to your max amount of RAM unless you ONLY have skyrim running.

Since I had no ILS etc. before then it is kinda hard for me to test though... for now I am just gonna let it remain at this value until I get an issue!
