The error stacks that reference DuelPlayerProc.psc are relevant to Duel Combat Realism...you might be having a conflict with SkyRE on that.

Can't help you with SIC_NightTrigger...i don't have the mod it is referencing...easy way to fin it is to open your Skyrim Directory, and search for SIC in the search bar. When it finds "SIC_NightTrigger.psc", check to see which folder it comes from (hopefully a mod folder...for me it is as I use Mod Organizer which doesnt put mods directly into the Skyrim/Data folder)

I looked around a bit and i found out that Duel-Combat Realism IS combatible with SkyRE.

The SIC_NightTrigger.pex comes from Skyrim Immersive Creatures. I posted on NexusForums in a Thread referenced to this mod about this papyrus error.

I can see a few possible reasons:

- ABT is not compatible with SkyRe

- UFO is full of errors/conflicts

- Enhanced Blood Textures scripts are known to cause freezes in heavily modded game (I personally removed that mod as it was causing crashes when combined with SkyRe's combat module, enemy AI module and also Duel - the freezes stopped)

You are also using quite a few mods that I am not familiar with, that could be the culprits. From experience I know that SKyRe is causing A LOT of conflicts and it does requite A LOT of patches that are not available on Nexus.

Do we know yet if BLEED is any better in that respect?

You would have to check with the author if he/she writes their own scripts or uses some made by someone else. I know that Crimson Tide and EBT were both using some written by the same guy, but Crimson Tide used an older version that was causing save game corruption or some other terrible thing.

If the author writes their own then it would still need testing.

I've never heard of this. Can you link please? Thanks.

::EDIT::

NVM, I've found it :) I'll check it out at home. Unable to even see the videos, as You Tube is blocked in my office network :psyduck:

Sorry to necro an old thread but I have a question about this.

My game sometimes freezes even though the sound keeps playing. I also use that combination of mods. Did your freezes with EBT only happen during combat or also let's say 10sec after combat (this is what is happening to me).

Post combat freezes are probably caused be some other mod... Post your BOSS log and some details (see here) and we'll have a look.

- Issue info: My game freezes randomly. It could be anywhere between 5min and 3h into the game. I seem to experience it sometimes like 10sec after combat, but it may just be a coincidence. Last time it crashed on the road from the standing stones to riverwood, a few seconds after I killed wolf pack. The game freezes but the music keeps playing. Need to ctlr-altd-del and end process.

- Install info: I run a SR install and followed it to the letter. I then installed ASIS+Skyre as per the basic guide thread in the SR forum section. Applied and selected the patches carefully. Also disabled some addons/modules such as Duel, ASIS combat module, BOYD, Better Vampires, Moonlight Tales, Werewolf Mastery, Predator Vision. Made sure that the relevant patches/esps were also disabled. My game has experienced these freezes whether running only SR or whether running SR + the mods just described. I also use Immersive Patrols and Project Parallex Remasterd. I have used the lowres/performance version of all texture packs. DDSOpted 90% of texture packs to 1k exteriors (.5k normals) and 2k interiors (1k normals).

- System info: i5 2500k @4.3ghz (tested thoroughly for 100% stability). HD6950 2gb vram. 16gb ram. SSD.

- I usually run between 1.6 and 1.9gb of vram. In the most taxing areas it can shoot up to 1970/1980 but it never really maxes out. GPU load is hovering between 80 and 90% of the times. FPS is limited with RadeonPro to 38fps. All hardware AA is off. Using SweetFX SMAA injector only.

- I use ENBoost with the following settings:

BOSS Log: I know about the 2 BOYD errors. The relevant esps are disabled.

- Papyrus Log: Received dozens, if not hundreds of error of: MintyQuestForkScript, CHConfigQuestScript, AUAConfigQuestScript. I know the first one refers to Thunder During Lighting storms mod, but there was sunny weather when the crash occured. Not sure about the other scripts. The log is too large for a spoiler or code tag here. Will give you the link soon in an edit.

I would say this is too many scripted mods. Try removing Automatic Variants and SkyTest for starters and see how that goes.

I play a mixture of SR, STEP and my own mod selection. I used to get A LOT of freezes. I removed Enhanced Blood Textures, BFS effects, SkyTEST and Automatic Variants and now I get no freezes (I get ILS intead :/ but thats due to using too large texture packs I think, testing is in progress...)

Hmm that's interesting, thanks. I might actually try that although it would be hard to give up AV! I can easily live without BFS & EBT though.

Would you be able to tell me anything about the papyrus log errors? When an error is repeated hundreds of times, does this mean that it is a probem? I know papyrus is not really a tool for CTD detection but it just doesn't look good when some scripts just keep spitting out continous errors. See my edit above for the link.

I was under the impression that a clean SR or STEP install (I used STEP too for a couple months) were supposed to be CTD/Freeze free (although the authors never claimed them to be). I guess I was wrong (no offense intended) and that it is simply very hard to get a crash-free modded Skyrim.

Papyrus is not my specialty, so I'm afraid I am unable to help you there.

And in all fairness, I don't think that a full STEP install was OFFICIALLY tested in a prolonged period of proper gameplay. In theory it should work fine, but remember that heavily modded Skyrim is always a risk of instability.

As for SR - Neo would have to answer that question.
