DDSopt - missing Menu Options in "Behave"

Altaya

Question

Hi Step Team!

Thanks for the great site and the Enhancement project in general!

Just yesterday I dared to look at the DDSopt Optizimzation Process for the first time and read all the pages on the wiki for it while preparing my BSA files as reccomended there.

Now I´d be ready to Process the textures from "Vanilla Extracted" to "Vanilla Optimized" which will take about 3 to 4 hours but there is one problem:

In my DDSopt Window under Behave I am missing the 4 Entrys shown here in the second row of the rec. options to use.

https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:DDSopt#Using_DDSopt

I downloaded DDSopt from the officialpage as linked in the Wiki and exchanged the Ini with the one from this Wiki. I also tried the original ini but with that those menus are also missing.

Or am I missing sth.? I searched for "Behave" here in the forums but couldn´t find anything like my problem right away.

Is it safe to process everything now with the rest of the options set like recommended?

THANKS in advance,

greetings

Altaya

Edit: Fixed typo in title, argh ;)

That is correct. The guide is written for the Beta release and the only place that is mentioned is in the INI page that is linked. Please don't forget to grab the updated INI from the link or you'll most likely be back here complaining about textures that are messed up. lol.

I changed the DDSopt guide to mention the version to be downloaded, and the need to run it with administrative privilege so that parameter changes are saved (to prevent yet another round of questions).
