Orb Flashes after making Custom LODs

Question

Posted (edited)

I've been following The Modding Linked guide DBF and have followed the instruction on how to generate grass LOD then terrain LOD, object and tree LOD, and use Dyndolod. My result has not been great, and I have spent more than a day reading dyndolod.info and stepmodification.org documentation posts on how to use these tools. My eyes and head are pretty burnt out and I'm still getting nowhere on how to fix these white orb flashes that only last for 1 frame. I made a video showcasing all of the issues I have but I read that sheson wants log files to be uploaded and proper screenshots. I made some image stills of the video showing the graphical glitches and have all the logs ready to go but still unsure how to properly post all this since I'm not well versed in forum posting. Sorry if I'm breaking the rules here I'm just trying to learn.

Here is a link to my log files: DynDOLOD, TexGen, LODGen

If you have issues with a third party guide or mod list, then you should ask on their forum etc.
The provided loadorderlibrary seems outdated. There seems to be no custom xLODGen/TexGen/DynDOLOD output.

Grass LOD is generate as object LOD. You are probably confusing wthat with grass cache generation. See https://dyndolod.info/Help/Grass-LOD

Why do you believe the flashes have something to do with the generated LOD? See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Rudimentary-Troubleshooting and test with static LOD meshes toggled off and if that makes no difference, test with DynDOLOD output disabled.

Test without Community Shaders (there is no need to disable it for LOD generation, maybe it means grass cache generation). If there is no change, test without SMIM.

The DynDOLOD log from DynDOLOD DLL NG and Scripts indicates an outdated save is being loaded. Make sure to generate LOD for the current load order and follow the instructions at https://dyndolod.info/Updating and https://dyndolod.info/Help/Clean-Save

The flashes look to be torchbugs, I'm guessing. Probably the glow mesh interacting with ENB/weather or some texture incompatibility. It probably would happen without the LOD patch. Use MO data tab to filter textures/meshes for 'torchbug' to see what mod they are coming from. If using ENB, toggle it off for a while using Shift + F4 to see if that resolves.
