Fallout 4 Power Armour HUD colour settings not working

I've tried everything I can think of at this point, I've been looking up guides and I'm scouring forums decades old, I cant find my solution, the only thing I haven't tried yet is regenerating the INI files from scratch. As the post title says, I'm trying to change the colour of the power armour HUD, the pipboy menu will not change no matter what settings I change, what order i put the settings in, which file i alter, whether the file is or isn't read only, etc etc. if you have any advice please please help.

You most likely have a UI mod installed that is overriding the color.

i do have a few ui mods, thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction, i will go check them now and see if i can change the colour with them

Ok, so I disabled all of my UI mods annnnd....... nothing, still not working. I had a few different INI changers all installed at once so I tried disabling them in case they were conflicting somehow, maybe overwriting each others changes even though they had the same settings, idk, and that also didn't work, I tried using the "reset to default" button in Bethini Pie but it doesn't seem that the game is even registering new INI settings, I have no idea how, I have like, 230 mods installed so digging through them to find the one that's causing it is gonna be a headache, especially because I'm mid play though and I'd really rather not have to restart.

I have also noticed that I can't get or set INI settings while in game using console commands, it says that it cannot find the setting I'm trying to get or set (turns out this only applies to settings in the pipboy or vats sections, at least those are the only two that don't work).

I also finally gave in and recreated the INIs from scratch, that also didn't fix it, so it must be a mod I have installed or a conflict between two mods that is causing it to fail.
