z929669 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 As mentioned previously, I recommend disabling all non-Step-2.3 mods and verifying you installed them all correctly. Then test these issues on a new character and not a save. That tests if the issue is with respect to your changes.
nomaddc Posted November 11, 2024 Author Posted November 11, 2024 Yeah, was doing it. Narrowed down the issue to a non-step mod. The other ones I've listed though are still present.
nomaddc Posted November 14, 2024 Author Posted November 14, 2024 Seems like the problem was coming from ENB. After a full enb reinstall the green dots were gone. Not sure exactly what did it, since I tried wiping enbcache and copying over enbseries ini and folder before to no effect. Deleting all of it and starting a game with no enb, then starting it with freshly reinstalled enb got rid of the dots.
nomaddc Posted November 18, 2024 Author Posted November 18, 2024 Another potential bug: silgrad pass gate is missing for some reason. There are some stendarr faction NPCs and goblins, but the gate is gone and you can just walk out of bounds. Not sure what would cause this.
nomaddc Posted November 19, 2024 Author Posted November 19, 2024 (edited) Another bug: over time it seems that some LOD or something fail to load and I start seeing missing terrain/floating buildings. Example: did some questing, ended up outside Solitude, down below in the bay. The city was missing terrain underneath and some walls. Saved, quit the game, loaded again, terrain is there now. nomaddc Posted November 30, 2024 Author Posted November 30, 2024 Update, after lots more testing and playing: 1. It appears sometimes NPCs forget to unlock their shops/houses at daytime. Ran into quite a few locked shops during daytime, thought they were closed, after looking for the NPC around town and eventually picking lock on the store found them inside doing business as usual. 2. I got delivered a bunch of creations quest starter letters almost immediately (I think it even happened when I was testing the performance), and at least one of them iirc is supposed to only appear at level 32. Is this intended or I've messed something up? 3. Creations button has returned to main menu. I'm not sure if it was always there, but I thought somehow it was removed sometime in the modding process. Disabled that functionality in inis, the button stayed as the guide says, but doesn't cause any trouble. 4. Found an issue with Incinerate spell where it leaves light trails with ENB. Culprit was meshes/mps/mpsfireboltfire01.nif from EmbersXD. Replaced it with ENB Light one to fix it.
