In your mod manager: Make sure you uninstall previous versions prior to updating all of these, including DynDOLOD 3 Alpha, which should not be installed in a UAC path (like Program Files). Uninstall everything. Don't overwrite. Check that you have no conflicting mods/versions overriding the latest.
0 Tiphereth
Hello, I thought the order was only important for the game itself, and I thought the tool "LOOT" did that job for me. x_x And of course, you were right. I uninstalled the Resources and the DLLs and properly reinstalled them in the right order, and it worked. Modding Skyrim is something pretty new for me. Sorry for that dumb mistake. XD Thank you very much. ^^'

0 Tiphereth
Hello, Sorry, here are the logs, and thanks for the help: https://ufile.io/f/7s8ry Quote The log shows you have DynDOLOD Resources 2.88 installed. Yeah, I noticed the log says DynDOLOD Resources 2.88, and I don't know why. Now that I have changed the order, it seems okay though. Like I said, I downloaded and installed this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/DynDOLOD-Resources-SE-3/52897?tab=files And it clearly says it's the version 3.00. When I install it with MO2, it still says it's the 3.00 in the list, but it's red and says I should have the "Alpha-36" (I also noticed that with the screenshot posted by z929669). And when I launched DynDOLOD, it was not Alpha-36 or 3.00, but 2.88. I don't know why. I used the only file available, and the one suggested by this guide I followed: https://dyndolod.info/Installation-Instructions

Remove the DynDOLOD Resources 2.88 for DynDOLOD 2.x from the load order, left window of MO2. There should only be the latest version of DynDOLOD Resources SE 3 be installed and active. Is it possible that the DLL files I downloaded after that are downgrading the Resource? Maybe that's where I messed up? Because I can't understand how I could have downloaded an outdated version, since I don't even know where I could find that. There is not older version of the file available on the Nexus, and the link on this page: https://dyndolod.info/Downloads also links the same Nexus page. Here's what it looks like : I followed the video on the site : https://dyndolod.info/Installation-Instructions So I have the Resource and 2 DLL, the one for SKSE and the one for the scripts. I disabled the DynDOLOD Resources mod like you said. In the data tab, I can see the structure of the mods. There is a Meshes\DynDOLOD\lod\ folder. The version.ini file doesn't appear. In fact, only the subfolders appear here (Architecture, Clutter, etc.). I found manually the version.ini file, so it's there (it says: [Main] Version=3.00), but I'm not sure to understand how to track other mods which would downgrade the Resources mod to 3.0. By searching version.ini in MO2, I found one version in textures/DYNdolod/lod/version.ini Also saying it's version 3.00. By searching version.ini in MO2, I found one version in textures/DYNdolod/lod/version.ini Also saying it's version 3.00. The version.ini in textures is created by TexGen. This is about the version in meshes only. Test if it still reports out of date DynDOLOD Resources after disabling the DynDOLOD Resources SE 3 Alpha. If it says DynDOLOD Resources version information can not be found, the outdated DynDOLOD Resources seem to be removed already and all is well. If it still reports that the DynDOLOD Resources are outdated with a version number that is not 3.00 and there is no loose version.ini file, it is probably in a BSA. In MO2 menu Tools, Settings, Workarounds tab, check the box Enable archives parsing, then check the in the MO2 right window data tab again for the file. If it find a BSA/mod If that still finds not anything, start xEdit and load all plugins. Once it loaded, start the Asset Browser with CTRL + F3, and enter version.ini into the filter field. Check the Containers column for the version.ini in meshes. Data means loose file. If a BSA is reported its filenname should be enough to know which mod it comes from. 0 Tiphereth
Thanks for your patience and the time you spend to help me. ^^' Tried all this. No version.ini file. Maybe the problem was just the load order, like it was suggested? Like I said, after changing the mods order list, it didn't say anymore my Resources were outdated, and I could use DYNdolod. It seems the only issue was I had a Resources 3.0, but not the last alpha version. Not sure why. I tried to reinstall everything, just to be sure. I'm still with a Resources 3.0, but I have a new error message: "LOD Billboard(s) not found." I looked at the DynDOLOD debug log like you told me before. And this is what I found: Quote <Warning: LOD billboard not found textures\terrain\lodgen\skyrim.esm\treepineforestsnowl01_0005d2db.txt Skyrim.esm TreePineForestSnowL01 [TREE:0005D2DB]> No idea what I need to do. x_x https://ufile.io/9i5q3504

It also means that TexGen output is not installed/active either. Hopefully you did not just somehow remove the old version.ini while keeping the outdated LOD assets. So only enable DynDOLOD Resouces SE 3 Alpha-36 to make sure there are no outdated LOD assets from DynDOLOD Resources 2.88 interfering when you generate LOD. Enable the TexGen output again. https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Read-Log-and-Error-Messages explains: If there is an error prompt, read the entire message carefully. 0 Tiphereth
Okay, so I disabled all my mods in MO2 and just kept DynDOLOD (and DLLs for DynDOLOD). Here's what I have when I do that: https://ufile.io/f/uwwck I checked the DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt and it says I'm using DynDOLOD Resources 3.00. Quote DynDOLOD Resources SE: 3.00 <= 3.00 <= 3.00 So, it seems I'm not anymore on Resources 2.88 now. When I try to use DynDOLOD with all my mods active, the log still shows I'm on DynDOLOD Resources 3.00. https://ufile.io/f/qgvps But when I activate all the mods, I have that issue: Quote <Warning: LOD billboard not found textures\terrain\lodgen\skyrim.esm\treepineforestsnowl01_0005d2db.txt Skyrim.esm TreePineForestSnowL01 [TREE:0005D2DB]> Quote The message already gives a hint how to solve the problem: Generate LOD billboards with TexGen first. I actually did generate billboards with TexGen. I did, in that order: 1) XLodGen : I generated meshes and texture and add them to my mod list. 2) TexGen: I generated a .zip archive and then installed it with MO2. 3) DynDOLOD No issue with XLodGen and TexGen as far as I know. Only DynDOLOD didn't work DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt DynDOLOD_SSE_Debug_log.txt
0 Tiphereth
Okay, I made it work. I'm not sure how, but I once again tried to completely uninstall/reinstall the whole DynDOLOD mods, and this time it worked. I'm not sure what I messed up on my last 2 tries with TexGen, but I finally made it. è_é The log (and MO2) still says I'm using the 3.00 version (and not the alpha 3.16), but it doesn't seem to be an issue. As you found out yourself, the version.ini from DynDOLOD Resources SE Alpha-36 contains "3.00" as information. That is expected, reported and all that is needed. This time you generated billboards with TexGen for the current load order, installed and activated the TexGen output, so now the billboards can be found. Hello.
Title says (almost :p) everything. I have that message but I can't find any more updated file.
What I downloaded and installed :

What error message I get:
I could use TexGen64, but when I try to use DynDOLOD, I get that message:
"DynDOLOD resources SE core files are outdated."
But I can't find any new version of that mod.
Here's what the log says:
