Mod Organizer 2 save issue? (I guess)

So I have local savegame and local game setting enabled but the save file location is still in My documents\games\skyrim special edition\_Mo_saves

How do I get saves to save only in their individual profiles like in original mod organizer?

Run Mod Organizer. Click the Profiles icon in the toolbar at the top. Select the profile you are currently using and verify "Local Savegames" is checked for this profile. This is important because the three checkboxes at the bottom apply only to the selected profile.

Yes all profiles have the local savegames enabled, however that are all still being saved under my documents\sse\mo saves

It looks as if you are using the Default profile and I've heard this may have issues... although keep in mind this is just what I've heard so it may not be correct. I always leave the Default profile as a pure vanilla game and do all my modding in other profiles. Having said this you might copy your existing Default profile to a new profile to see if it makes any difference. I currently have Default set to vanilla and have a separate STEP profile with local savegames and this one is working fine with the saves in the STEP profile folder.

The test profile is doing the same thing. : ( 

 

Should I reinstall mod organizer 2.1.3 and just recopy the download and mod folder? The only concern I have with that is the load order. Is there a way to save the load order?

I even tried created a new profile and having local game setting and local saves enable for them but it doesn't do anything. All profiles are saving into one singular location in documents\sse\mo saves

No, but you might hop over to the Mod Organizer discord and download Mod Organizer 2.1.4 Dev Build 2 or later to see if this solves the problem. This is the build I'm currently using and it's working fine. You can copy your entire Mod Organizer folder to a backup folder first and then extract the files in the dev build over the top of your existing install so you'll have a full backup as a fallback.

 

If you go this route, be sure you unblock the archive file before you extract the files. Open the folder you downloaded the archive to, right click MO2.1.4-Build-2-Silarn.7z, select Properties, click Unblock, and click OK. If you don't do this, Windows 10 may give you a lot of grief. The devs drop the latest fixes in #builds for testing before they package the next version on Nexus.

No, its still saving it in MY DOCUMENTS but instead of MO saves its directly saving it in sse\saves now

Nah nvm, it worked now. 2.1.3 didn't work but 2.1.4 work, weird what bug caused it...
