Question
mikey1979
I currently have Mod Organizer 2 running with Fallout 4 and would like to start playing Skyrim SE for the very first time. I have installed SE and have created their associated ini files. I have downloaded Mod organizer 2.0.8.3b from the Skyrim SE Nexus site. I have installed Mod Organizer 2 to the SkyrimSE folder in my C:\Games\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\ModOrganizer folder. When start Mod Organizer for the very first time (at the end of the install process), I do not get an option for New vs. Portable so it loads up my Fallout 4 Mod Organizer Instance. Why do I not get this option?
With regards to my Fallout 4 Mod Organizer instance I have a shortcut on my desktop that points to the C:\Games\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Mod Organizer\Mod Organizer.exe. However, my Mod Organizer data files are located in my C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Fallout 4 folder. How do I establish a new link to Skyrim SE? Seems to me that if I were to get the Portable option (see above) it would then create a new folder for Skyrim SE in my C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer folder automatically. Or do I need to do this manually and if so how?
