Total Surface area of capsule = curved surface area of 2 hemispheres + curved surface area of cylinder

∴ Total Surface area of capsule = 2 × 2 × π × r^{2} + 2 × π × R × H

= 4 × π × r^{2} + 2 × π × R × H

= 4 × π × 1 × 1 + 2 × π × 1 × 2

= 4 π + 4 π
